The Capital of 'Love' -- Ljubljana

Ljubljana is immersed in an omnipresent green environment. The city was awarded the title of European Green Capital in 2016, making it a city with a green soul! Environmental awareness is deeply ingrained here, and even in the bustling city center, you will be pleasantly surprised to find large, well-preserved green spaces. Lush parks, verdant tree-lined paths, and clear rivers are all examples of the harmonious coexistence of nature and the city. Walking through it feels like being in a serene green ocean, bringing a sense of tranquility and joy. Strolling through the old town of Ljubljana feels like traveling through a tunnel of time. The ancient buildings and narrow streets convey the marks of time, and the chimes of history seem to echo in your ears. During my several hiking trips, I encountered locals walking their dogs. Once, a dog stopped and stared at me until I passed by, and another time, a big yellow dog barked at me while retreating. The owner told me not to be afraid, as the dog had never seen an Oriental person and wouldn't harm me. I think there are not many Asian tour groups here, possibly because it is a place for summer retreats, cycling, vacations, and hiking. However, in the small towns I passed through, I saw Chinese restaurants and shops. Every time I saw a sign in Chinese, it warmed my heart.
