From abroad, you can take a flight, if not directly to Florence, Bologna is the best option (only 30min away by train) Attractions - There’s lots to visit, not only the Uffizi. Reserve your tickets online and check if they are open ahead. Hotels - I would advise to stay in an apartment. It’s cheaper to eat out and you can choose between lots of options. the food is great in the city Food & Restaurants - Check the reviews online, they will tell you if you need to reserve a table or you can just walk in.
