The book is called "Xian Tian Xia" and is a chronicle of the White Swan Hotel written by the former GM of the hotel. It is a thick book with exquisite printing. It tells the story of the origin and design of the White Swan Hotel, its heritage and innovation, and the daily life of the hotel staff in various departments. A good hotel is a work that changes over time, but I rarely have the opportunity to see detailed hotel records.
