Design concept: A bridge through time and space. The Cloud Cave Library draws inspiration from the concept of a "wormhole," using the building's curved form and cave-like openings to evoke the mystery of a time tunnel, transforming reading into a journey through knowledge and nature. Architectural features: Curves and light. The building's curved design not only showcases a sense of fluid beauty but also cleverly incorporates natural light and ventilation to cool the building. The varying sizes of the cave-like openings create a play of light and shadow, bringing dynamic changes to the interior space. Structural innovation: The concrete is molded into a soft, versatile structure, achieving seamless integration of indoor and outdoor concrete, showcasing the poetic flow of concrete. Functional layout: A fusion of spaces. The library's interior features a stepped reading area, a multifunctional audio-visual area, and a café and lounge area, providing the public with a 24-hour cultural exchange platform. Haikou Cloud Cave Library is not only a temple of knowledge but also a spiritual sanctuary. Here, architecture, art, culture, and nature intertwine, embarking on a journey to explore beauty and meaning.
