City of silk lanterns

Hoi An is a charming town, and a perfect day trip from Danang. Hoi An is famous for its market, boat rides, and of course all the silk lanterns that decorate pretty much everything in town. My friends and I arrived about two hours before sunset. What gave us a good amount of time to stroll around the shopping streets and to see local places of interest before the darkness. Hoi An is a good place to buy souvenirs, and see all sorts of local crafts. Many temples, old houses and bridges are also worth stopping by and having a closer look. I personally love old architecture, so I really enjoyed seeing all that beauty. After spending a good amount of time at the market, we went for a boat ride. And I think the best way to do it is to get a boat for the sunset, so it's possible to have a look at the Riverside during the daylight, and then in the darkness. #internationaltravel #vietnam #hoian
