Plataran Komodo Beach Resort was the third and last hotel we stayed at during our 10-day trip to Komodo. The hotel has a wild luxury style with independent courtyards. There are only 18 suites in the hotel. The outdoor swimming pool has a sun terrace and an unobstructed sea view. The spacious independent houses overlook the sea and have a wild luxury style tropical garden and private terrace. The hotel also offers a variety of free water activities every day. In addition, the hotel's restaurant Atlantis On The Rock by Plataran is open to the public and has a beautiful sunset view! There are several seaside cabanas below the restaurant, which are great places to watch the sunset. The restaurant also has a long trestle bridge, where you can see starfish, sea urchins, and all kinds of beautiful corals and tropical fish. The hotel's creative breakfast every day makes the vacation feel even more ceremonial! We stayed at the hotel for three days. On the first day, we had breakfast in the restaurant. On the second day, we sat on the mountain top at 5:30 am to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. On the third day, we had breakfast on the beach in the hotel's secret garden Lost Paradise. After breakfast, we planted two trees in the mangrove forest, accompanied by a butler who explained the process. It was a great experience!
