Hundreds of poets, including Li Bai, Du Fu, Bai Juyi, Wang Wei, Li Shangyin, Yuan Jiu, and Su Dongpo, have written poems about Yushan! After getting off at the Lantian toll station and getting on the provincial road, there is snow on both sides of the road. After turning from the provincial road to the main road of the scenic area, there is a large snowfield. We parked the car here and didn't drive further up. It took 40 minutes to walk from the main road to the entrance of the scenic area. The mountain road is relatively steep, with a lot of snow. The road is icy and on a slope, so it is very slippery! 🏔️ Lantian Yushan Scenic Area ⬆️ Altitude: 2,339 m 🕙 The whole journey takes about 4–6 hours There are no shops on the mountain There are only farmhouses at the foot of the mountain, so remember to bring water and food Equipment: Light down jacket, sweatshirt/light fleece, light fleece pants, light long johns, non-slip shoes, trekking poles, gloves, crampons. Time: 2–3 hours uphill.
