Limassol - old town

#travelgram A small area of Limassol were a number of old buildings remain in the area around the castle. The streets are pedestrianised with shops, bars and restaurants jostling for attention amongst the old castle and churches. It won’t take you long to wonder around but it’s worth doing. My travel plan for you: • start in beautiful cafe “Alice” for an amazing cake and coffee; • then it’s shopping time in variety of artisan shops, galleries, jewellers, clothes, souvenir shops • time to visit Saripolou Square is the Holy Cathedral of Virgin Mary Pantanassis. Also in the area is the Ayia Napa Cathedral and the small dolphin fountain along with some traditional old buildings. • you could visit old castle in Limassol Cyprus which houses an archaeological museum. Located right behind the Old Port. Very reasonably priced and extensive. There are great views of Limassol city from the battlements. • and you could finish this tour with tasty lunch in one of many tavernas or restaurants #100waysoftravel
