| Ginkgo trees never fail to impress in autumn. Pilusi Temple in Nanjing is famous for its ginkgo trees. This was my first time visiting, and I was amazed! The golden ginkgo leaves and bright red corridors create a strong visual impact, yet they somehow harmonize perfectly. In the middle of the tall ginkgo trees stands a similarly tall white marble statue of Guanyin. Bathed in the late autumn sunlight, the entire courtyard feels especially peaceful and serene. Tickets to Pilusi Temple cost CNY 20 and include three sticks of incense. The Nanjing Park Annual Pass is accepted. Transportation: Take Metro Line 2 to Xi'anmen Station, Exit 2. There are a few parking spaces near the temple.
