Sheraton Ninghai is located in the business district of Ninghai County, next to Tianming Lake, 2 km from Ninghai High-speed Railway Station. It takes only 30 minutes to reach Ninghai Station from Ningbo by high-speed train, and then you can take a taxi to the hotel at the starting price. The first impression of the hotel is that it covers a large area, with low floors but long corridors, more like a resort hotel, and a few expensive black pines at the entrance add a touch of artistic conception. The exterior design of the hotel is designed by gad architecture, which has designed many Banyan Tree hotels in China. As soon as you walk into the door, you can feel the aesthetic progress of the new hotel. The new generation of Sheraton hotel design abandons the warm tones commonly used in the previous generation and uses more light colors that conform to the current mainstream aesthetics. The interior design of the hotel is designed by the famous CCD, which unfolds the narrative of each space in the form of "travel notes". Starting from the hotel gate, through the integration of oriental gardens and contemporary art, it creates an ideal artistic conception of enjoying the garden and enjoying the true nature. Xu Xiake's Travels says: "The peaks are beautiful, the water is reflected, the trees are beautiful, and the stones are strange." The hotel lobby is positioned as an "open shared space", full of vitality and a sense of belonging, with a large number of open spaces for guests to socialize or be alone. The design draws on the natural landscape and historical context of Jiangnan, and skillfully translates it into space design through different materials and artistic forms, integrating traditional culture with local culture, reconstructing classics, and creating a connection with Ninghai's local culture. This time I stayed in an executive lake view room on the 8th floor, the highest floor of the hotel. The decoration in the corridor, which is a bit like a gate, also comes from the elements of the ancient town of Qiántóng. The guest room structure is very square, and the light wood tone room creates a warm and elegant home feeling. As soon as you enter the door, there is a wardrobe and luggage rack on the left, and a bathroom on the right, with a balcony facing Tianming Lake. The interior of the guest room adopts leather and saddle buckle elements, which represent the hotel as a post station on the journey, and also echo the design concept of the whole hotel with "travel notes". The bathroom and living room are separated by sliding doors, which are also commonly used in many hotels now, and the new Chinese-style cabinet next to the washbasin is quite distinctive. The breakfast is in line with the Sheraton brand standard in terms of quantity and quality, but I personally feel that it lacks some local Ninghai specialties, such as wheat cakes and Qiántóng Sanbao, and I look forward to continuous improvement.
