Experience the Essence of Norway: A Journey Through Fjords

Do you feel that the term 'Norwegian Essence' is quite vivid? Every time I mention it, memories of Norway flood back, like reels of film. The cold morning mist between the fjords, the silhouette of distant mountains, or the waves crashing against icy rocks. 'Norwegian Essence' is more like a reflection of my feelings for Norway. In the early morning, the fjords are wrapped in mist, with light rain washing away the summer dust. I set off from the pier in Gudvangen. Inside the cabin, I leaned back in my seat, holding a steaming cup of coffee, facing the large windows with a friend. We remained silent. The mist in Norway isn't bothersome. It swirls over the lake, like a veil dancing in the morning light, making the fjord's outline faintly visible. The mist whispers in my ear, making the world gentle and blurred. At some point, the mist gradually dissipates. The sunlight gently lifts the veil of mist, falling lightly on the fjord mountains, caressing their texture. Suddenly, everything becomes bright and clear. 'Gazing into the vast sky, my eyes feel a faint ache.' A gentle breeze caresses the lake, creating ripples. Is summer leaving? The boat sails through the Sognefjord, with towering giants on both sides watching our every move. Embraced by the sunlight, we move slowly. Though slow, we unknowingly traverse mountains, never hindered. 'I wander like a lonely cloud, suspended between mountains and fjords, drifting freely between heaven and earth.' I watch the mountains and water coexist, never arguing, yet each possessing their own completeness. The scenery of the fjords changes continuously, between the mountain contours and lake ripples, time seems infinitely stretched. Everything operates in a wonderful silence, like bears hibernating in the winter forest. My friend and I exchange smiles and hum a winter bear song. 'You sleep so happily, I wish you a good night, good night, good night... Sleep like a winter bear.'
