Samadhi Zen Forest was founded during the Tang Dynasty and is located in Danjing Mountain Town, Pengzhou City, divided into Lower Samadhi, Middle Samadhi, and Upper Samadhi. 📍At the top of Upper Samadhi Mountain, one can collect Samadhi water, which is rumored to prevent and cure all diseases. 📍Middle Samadhi is great for mountain climbing, which can strengthen the body, and is surrounded by primeval forests, cool and quiet. 📍At Lower Samadhi, you can visit several Zen temples to burn incense and worship Buddha, have a vegetarian meal for 10 yuan per person, and the whole temple complex does not charge an entrance fee. For 100 yuan, you can resolve a day's worries. To be honest, the Arhat Group is really spectacular and majestic. At the top of the Pagoda Grove, the relics of the master Wuda are stored, which I didn't dare to photograph much, as the surroundings are all graves, so I just took a quick look. In addition, on the mountain road leading to Upper Samadhi, there is a niche with a reclining Buddha carving on the cliff, about 2 meters long, with a unique posture. Walking up to the Samadhi Water Pavilion Temple at the very top, there is a spring above the Holy Water Pavilion, which is said to be the place where Master Wuda washed his sores in the past.
