Birdwatching Diary: Swans on the Yellow River

After my trip to Shijiazhuang, I headed south to Sanmenxia Swan Lake Wetland Park. I was lucky enough to see a group of swans with Siberian accents. Siberian swans are elegant and noble birds, loved for their beautiful appearance. Their landing is especially graceful, like a plane lowering its landing gear. Actually, it's our planes that are imitating these lovely swans. Swans usually migrate from Siberia to China for the winter, and Sanmenxia Swan Lake Wetland Park is a famous wintering spot. Every winter, a group of swans from Siberia come here to play and forage among the reeds, bringing life and romance to the cold winter. Siberian swans have high requirements for the environment and water quality, and are a second-class protected animal in China. I really like the third photo. What do you think? Next, I plan to detour to Sanmenxia, then go to Xi'an, Hanzhong, Chongqing, Zunyi, Guiyang, and Kunming, before heading to southern Yunnan - Xishuangbanna. I'll take my time and try to get home before the New Year. The route is a bit long, but I'm looking forward to some surprises.
