The Grand Walkerhill Hotel, once a cultural hub frequented by many, has now been reborn as a venue for immersive art exhibitions. The immersive media art exhibition is characterized by the ability to freely move around a large space while enjoying three-dimensional changing artworks accompanied by grand music. You can view works by various 17th-century Dutch artists, providing an opportunity to reflect on the culture, society, and atmosphere of that era. The works of 17th-century Netherlands often feature women as the main subjects, such as the Girl with a Pearl Earring, and the portraits tend to have a somewhat heavy atmosphere. In addition, there are many grand and splendid works, making it feel like you have indirectly experienced 17th-century Netherlands. The exhibition runs for about 55 minutes, consisting of a main video of about 35 minutes and an exhibition by architect Mondrian for about 15 minutes. The Theater of Light has a spacious area with seats, bean bags, and spaces where you can lie down, allowing for a comfortable viewing experience.
