Observatory Hill Park

#australiatrip Gorgeous sweeping views throughout Rocks and along the Harbour Bridge, across the Harbour to northern Sydney and West up the river. Lovely old trees, some well maintained grass and a scattering of Park benches make this a picnic destination in good weather. I went with a group of friends to sketch the view and the were two separate catered picnics, a couple of girls filming a dancer routine in the rotunda, people scattered around drawing and reading, and innumerable others strolling or relaxing in the grass.
