Bao'an Temple

Bao'an Temple is located in the mountain hollow of Liangjia Tun, Changling Village, Paotai Town, Wafangdian City, and was founded during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The main hall of the temple is the Niangniang Hall, which enshrines the Sitting Mountain Old Mother, Walking Mountain Old Mother, Bixia Yuanjun, Disaster-Relieving Niangniang, Child-Sending Niangniang, Measles Niangniang, Flower Niangniang, Slap Niangniang, and Eyesight Niangniang, among others. Inside the temple courtyard, there is a double spring pool with water as clear as a mirror, sweet and cool. No matter how dry the weather is, the well water has never dried up. It is said to be the sweet dew of the Bodhisattva, known as divine water. The temple fair is held annually on April 18th. Wafangdian  Dalian
