Shangri-La Xiamen, definitely worth a stay

We went to Xiamen with friends and chose to stay at Shangri-La Xiamen. It was a great experience and good value for money, so I wanted to share it with you. Location: We flew from Beijing to Xiamen. It only took 20 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel by taxi. There is also a subway station nearby. Get off at Guanyinshan Station and walk for 5 minutes. Hotel room: The hotel was built in 2017, but it is very well maintained. There is a large sensor sunflower at the hotel entrance. It blooms when people walk by, which is very photogenic. In the lobby, there is a large flower display and Chinese New Year decorations. I stayed in an executive sea view room. The large floor-to-ceiling windows face the sea, so you can watch the sunrise from the bed. The room is equipped with a capsule coffee machine and JOHN MASTERS organic toiletries. It is clean and tidy. My friend stayed in a family suite with her child. There is a bunk bed for the child, and the room is equipped with bubble balls, sand digging tools, children's slippers, toiletries, and a small toilet ladder for children. The various themes make children very happy. Hotel facilities: There is a children's play area of more than 500 square meters, where you can book various DIY classes. It is definitely a paradise for children. The gym is more than 3,000 square meters, which is the largest and most complete hotel gym I have ever seen. Together with the heated swimming pool, it is a great place for sports lovers. Women can also enjoy a spa at the hotel. In addition to the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets at S.E. Asia Kitchen & Bar on the first floor, there is also the Chinese restaurant Fu Gong. I will share more about it later. The executive lounge is on the fourth floor. The breakfast in the executive lounge is very rich. There is a large terrace and a bubble house, where you can enjoy breakfast while admiring the sea view. Nearby attractions: The beach is within walking distance. You can take photos of Guanyin Temple and the hotel in the same frame. You can also ask the concierge to call a car to take you to Guanyin Temple. You can enjoy the sea breeze in Xiamen while playing in the sand at sunrise and sunset. It takes 20 minutes by taxi to Nanputuo Temple. We went there on the 15th day of the 12th lunar month. It was very lively. You can also see if there are any popular bracelets you like. It takes about 20 minutes by taxi to Shangli Reservoir, where you can walk along the long trail in Xiamen, look at Kinmen, take photos of the "Big Gluten" revolving building, and watch the sunset at Pan Gui Tower. Everything is beautiful.
