Xichang is definitely a hidden gem in Sichuan!

Xichang was originally just a stopover, but it turned out to be such a treasure city: 1. The climate is pleasant, with warm sunshine every day in December. 2. There are mountains (Lushan), water (Qionghai), and an ancient city (Jianchang Ancient City). 3. It is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, with many ethnic groups. You can go to Yuecheng Square to dance at night. 4. The city is not too big or too small, taxis and buses are fast and convenient, and it doesn't take long (hiking is also an option for those who love sports). 🌸 Friends who have been to Xichang told me that Xichang is really good, but it is windy all year round. When I got off the train at Xichang West Station, the wind was really strong, and my hat would definitely be blown away if I didn't hold it down with my hand. However, after staying in Xichang for three days, I only felt the strong wind at the train station, but not in other places. 🌸 I stayed in Xichang for three days and stayed in a guesthouse around Qionghai. On the first day, I rented an ordinary bicycle for CNY 20/day to ride around Qionghai (mountain bike CNY 30/day, electric bike CNY 50/day). There are no slopes in Xichang, and the ride around the lake is more than 30 kilometers. Bird Island Wetland Park, Dream Water Town Wetland Park, Jinlin Beach, Yinlin Beach, Qinglong Temple, Moonlight Town, and other attractions are all around Qionghai. It takes half a day to a day to ride and play. No tickets are required to enter the scenic area, just scan the code. 🌸 On the morning of the second day, I went to Lushan Scenic Area (near Qionghai). The Liangshan Yi Slave Society Museum is halfway up the mountain. The museum is free to visit with a ticket. It opens at 9:00 am, stops admission at 4:00 pm, and closes at 5:00 pm. It is closed all day on Mondays (except holidays). There are Guangfu Temple and Putuo Temple on the top of the mountain. Guangfu Temple provides vegetarian meals for tourists from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, CNY 20/person. There are macaques on the mountain, so be careful not to bring food, as macaques will snatch snack bags. In the afternoon, I went to Gangyao Village outside the city to see the largest jar in the world. Strolling around the ancient village of Dashi, eating delicious food, and dazing off are all pleasant things to do. 🌸 On the third day, I went to Jianchang Ancient City in the city (go during the day if you like quiet, and go at night if you like lively). Tang Garden, located on Jianchang East Road next to Jianchang Ancient City, is a garden attraction with Tang-style architecture.
