I was surprised by this trip to Yangzhou!

There were no disappointments this time. I stayed at the Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort, where the villa had a private hot spring. It was so nice to soak in the hot spring and enjoy the lake view. It's the off-season now, so there were few people and it was very quiet. There was no need to squeeze in with others, which was perfect for relaxing. There was no line at Quyuan Teahouse either. I enjoyed tea and took a walk in peace. The atmosphere was very comfortable, much more relaxing than those big attractions. There was no one at the Tomb of King Guangling and the Tomb of Emperor Yang of Sui when I visited, so it felt like I had the place to myself. The golden nanmu coffin chamber at the Tomb of King Guangling was amazing. It even had a mortise and tenon structure. The ancient people were really skilled. It's worth seeing. The scenery at He Garden was beautiful and perfect for taking photos. But it was so cold in winter that my hands were frozen stiff in the strong wind. Although it was cold, the photos turned out great. Every angle was beautiful. Overall, I was very satisfied with this trip. There were no major disappointments. Yangzhou is a small city with a slow pace, perfect for relaxing. There were few people at the attractions, so I could enjoy them comfortably, especially places like the Tomb of King Guangling, where I could take my time to appreciate the details. Yangzhou is cold in winter, but there are few people and beautiful scenery, perfect for those who want to avoid the crowds.
