Yuyao Nanlei Huang Zongxi Cultural Park.

From Yuyao, we went straight to the cultural park of another famous person among the four sages of Yuyao, Huang Zongxi, an important thinker, military strategist, and scholar in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. In Nanlei Town, Yuyao, next to Guanyin Temple, there is Huang Zongxi's Longhu Caotang and his family cemetery. Huang Zongxi's father, Huang Zunsu, was one of the seven gentlemen of the Donglin Party. Longhu Caotang was originally a thatched cottage built by Huang Zongxi when he was guarding his father's tomb. After Huang Zongxi failed to resist the Qing Dynasty in Siming Mountain, he hid here to live in seclusion, study, and teach students. At that time, Longhu Caotang was also a place that students in eastern Zhejiang yearned for. Behind the thatched cottage are the famous Longhu Peaks of Hua'an Mountain. After Huang Zongxi died, he was also buried here.
