Beijing Escape | Qinhuangdao | Lonely Library

This is a nice weekend escape from Beijing - around 2hr15 ride on the fast speed train. The library and church are actually part of the Aranya resort and is located on the beach front of the resort. You can chose to stay in the resort or can also stay outside and pay only to enter the library area . I stayed outside and payed an entrance fee. However I would really recommend booking a room and staying in Aranya. You can’t really swim in the sea but the resort seems to have its own pool, restaurant and even a livehouse. Aranya | Yinlu Hotel Real Experience I was torn between Yinlu and Anlan before I went. I ended up choosing Yinlu in Phase 8. Although it's a bit far, the off-season doesn't affect the experience at all. I really like the Japanese style, and the whole hotel smells nice. There is a card with the sunrise time for the next day on the bedside table. The shuttle bus is very convenient no matter where you go. Breakfast is very ordinary, but you can eat your fill, and the environment is very good. Take a nice bath at night and then get up early the next day to watch the sunrise. I regret not booking a few more days. I'll choose Yinlu again next time I go in the off-season.

Autumn in Anaya|||I went to Anaya in mid-October and tried the high-speed train + taxi. I took K7719 from Beijing to Changli (pictures 1/2), and the soft seat was surprisingly comfortable. I have a bad back, so I was very happy. I checked in advance and found that the seats on the train from Changli to Beijing were not very comfortable (it seems that the hard sleeper was changed to a hard seat), so I chose to take G9900 from Beidaihe back. This train has few stops and takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to Beijing Station. I took advantage of the off-season to experience Suka. The Little Prince toiletries were very cute, and the body lotion smelled good. I took the bus from Suka to the North Shore and checked in at the North Shore Hall. In the off-season, Anaya is affordable, and there are not many people on the beach in the park, which is very suitable for relaxing and releasing negative energy.
