Don't miss out on autumn in Beijing this year~ Here are 5 recommended places to enjoy the fall foliage.
Don't miss out on autumn in Beijing this year~ Beijing in October and November is as beautiful as a painting. If you're planning to visit Beijing this fall, you can follow in my footsteps, stroll through the hutongs covered in fallen leaves, and experience the romance of autumn and the accumulation of history.
📜 Recommended Beijing Autumn Citywalk Routes
May Fourth Street: Every year in mid to late October, the poplar trees are golden. This is the starting point of autumn, and it's a sight to behold.
Beiluoguxiang: The hutong entrances are covered in fallen leaves. This is probably what Lao She's autumn in Beiping looked like. The golden leaves sway in the wind, bicycles shuttle through the hutongs, and the air is filled with the smell of fireworks.
Shichahai Park to Shichahai Sugar House: You can see people coming and going in Shichahai. In autumn, the leaves fall, and the sense of destiny is strong.
Jingshan Park: Overlooking the Palace Museum in autumn, the best time to shoot is at sunrise and sunset. The sun shines on the tiles, creating a beautiful scene.
Dongsi Shitiao: A street I always love to visit when I come to Beijing, it's especially suitable for city walks. The coffee shop on Zhangzizhong Road has a sign that says "If you don't come, it'll snow", adding a touch of poetry.

Beijing | Only two yuan to view the Forbidden City!
Visiting Beijing, one must see the full view of the Forbidden City, and the best place to do so is Wanchun Pavilion in Jingshan Park, directly facing the Gate of Divine Prowess.
Jingshan is not high, and it is easy for the elderly and children to climb.
There are still some peonies blooming at the moment, and compared to other scenic spots, there are very few tourists.
Friends who can't make it to the Forbidden City Museum should definitely come here!
👉 The ticket is only two yuan, so I go to Jingshan every time I visit Beijing, haha!
🌟 Highlights:
An excellent view overlooking the entire Forbidden City!
RICHARD STEWART
I don't want to go to Jingshan Park anymore
I don't want to go to Jingshan Park anymore... Every time I go, I get deeply immersed. The peonies are in full bloom... so beautiful it's indescribable... All sorts of photographers with their long and short lenses... Spraying water on the flowers with little spray bottles to create an artistic atmosphere... Peonies of various colors... And the cultural creative popsicles... I really can't go anymore... It's too exhausting for the legs... Remember, if you want to go inside to take photos of the peonies, you must wear comfortable shoes...

A Park that Overlooks Forbidden City!🇨🇳
#timetotravel
After we finished roaming around the Forbidden City, we kind of just followed the crowed that was heading to somewhere and they lead us to Jingshan Park. At first we thought it was just a common Chinese park to chillax but.. nope, you can actually climb up to the pavillion that offers you the view of the Forbidden City from above. That was quite a surprise to us which we really enjoyed. We also took the chance to take some photos in a Chinese tradition clothes with extra cost. We came here a few years back, before the pandemic so I am not sure of the entrance fee. Just double check on their website. I think you need a reservation now. When we were there we just bought tickets on the spot. Have a great visit ! #tripblazers #mytripvlog #chinatravel #park

JINGSHAN PARK in the center of BEIJING
Getting There - I took Metro Line 7 from DaJiaoTing Station to CiQuKou where I changed to Line 5 and got off at DongSi Station. From there I too bus number 128 to ShengWuMen and walked to the ticket station at the South Gate of JingShan Park.
Attractions - So many beautiful places to take pictures inside the park, but the highlight is getting to the top and seeing The Forbidden City in its full glory. The day I went was quite cloudy.

Check out this Beijing classic 👌
Take in the views over the Forbidden City across the street at Jingshan park. It's cheap entry with a short walk to the top. Take your time on the way up the hill, it's pretty picturesque with views of the whole city.
It gets super crowded so it may take a while before you manage to work your way to the front of the crowd to catch the view. Once at the front take whatever pictures you want before you leave, it'll be hard to get back in again 🙏

Jingshan Park in Bloom
Nestled away behind the Forbidden City/Beijing Palace is a beautiful park.
We visited in April 2019 which was right in the middle of Spring so all the flowers were in bloom. There were some beautiful displays all perfectly cultivated a styled it was a joy to wander around. Although we passed a lot of people the park never felt crowded. It is also a fantastic spot to gaze down in to the Forbidden City if you don't want to brave the crazy crowds. The view from the Wanchun Pavilion is wonderful. It was only mildly smogy on the day we visited so it felt like we could see for miles and mile in every direction.
There are plenty of panic areas in the park, but we picked up snacks from the little kiosk at the entry gate and munched as we walked around. Trying to stave off the jetlag. We did stop for tea and biscuits at a beautiful little teahouse somewhere near the west gate. It was so peaceful sitting in the courtyard watching people pass by and the tea was delicious.
On our way out we got caught up amongst some flat twirlers. All the children were joining in so being young at heart we decided to give it a go as well. Lets just say my coordination must have still been wandering around the park because i ended up wrapped in the flag more than twirling it. But it made people laugh so not at all a bad thing.
This was a perfect first day on our China visit.

Jingshan Park, Beijing
We hit this one at the end of a long day, got one of those candy strawberry treats that I can’t spell to keep going! My friend who took me was so excited, said it’s his favourite view in the city and I see why! Truly amazing, especially seeing one side, a much older side, of the city and then the newer side in the same place. There was a rather large crowd but with everything if you wait a second most people will move shortly, unfortunately some people had set up tripods and weren’t planning on moving anytime soon so you just have to work around them. If you get there a bit before sunset you should walk around the park a bit it’s a beautiful park especially with golden hour.

❄️ A snowy day at the Forbidden City ❄️
As soon as it snows in Beijing, you should wrap yourself in your warmest coat and head to Jingshan Park to see the historic Forbidden City (故宫) covered in snow.
Situated directly north of the Forbidden City, Jingshan park is the only hill in Beijing (it was man made with the soil that was excavated when creating the moat around the Forbidden City). It is the best place to oversee the old imperial city.
Be careful when climbing the many stairs to the pagoda on top of the hill as not only are they icy, they may be crowded. Be prepared to use your elbows to get an advantageous viewpoint to take your photo of the snowy buildings (totally worth it). You may even be lucky enough to have clear blue skies and a view all the way to the surrounding mountains.
Afterwards, take the time to walk around the moat of the Forbidden city as the frozen water and snowy snowscape provide beautiful photo opportunities.

Jing Shan Park, and central hill of Jing Shan Park, Beijing, the bright Capital of The People's Republic of China.
The climbing will take no more than ten or fifteen minutes but it will be full of impressions. On the way to the central pavilion at the top of hill where emperor would like to have rest watching his own land there are small pavilions from the both sides of the both paths. Yes there are two paths going to the top from two opposite sides. Green treas and evergreen pines are accompanying visitors all the time. That was the nice walk in the nice weather.

The Green Path of Jing Shan Park. Beijing, the capital of People's Republic of China. Jing Shan Park is occupying very little space on the map of Beijing, almost a dot in this mega size city but it is magically attractive! The gree npath is a route for walking in Jing Shan Park around the hill with observation deck. The tall and old trees stand Luke's soldiers along the road, probably, in ancient time their function was not only beautify landscape and clean air, but also give the feeling of protection to the restless emperor, it is really looks like a soldiers standing without any move and providing the corridor for passing through.
The air is clean, it smells pines, this intangible fragrancy, perfect air for lungs.

This time our destination is Beijing, the capital of The People's Republic of China, the autonomous city, the heart of Chinese culture. We are in Jing Shan Park which is also known as emperor summer residence. This park and visitors area could be subdivided into several parts. One of them is a gallery with exposition of ancient Chinese painting. Now we are in this gallery where the paintings of several dynasties are presented to be studied, including Qing dynasty.

景山公园 or Jing Shan Park ,aka Emperor summer residence. Beijing. And it is located straight in front of Forbidden City gates, just need to across the road and you are in this beautiful park. Jing Shan Park or Jing Mountain Park is especially charming during the summer. The visit will require about two hours to walk slowly around and to climb the hill. At the top is located the observation pavilion giving magnificent view on the surroundings. Definitely should be visited.

#culturetrip Jingshan Park or Jingshan Gongyuan (景山公园) is a large park located to the north of the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. The highlight here is the mountain in the middle of the park. When you walk up to the top of the mountain, you will be able to see the Forbidden City from a high angle. Seeing the Forbidden City from this angle, I must say that it is really beautiful and magnificent. This mountain is not very high. There are stairs to walk up conveniently. But it is quite tiring to walk to the top. But the view is worth the effort. For friends who visit here, you must walk up to the top.

Beijing is one of the best cities in the world
If you are in beijing, I highly recommend you to visit tian'anmen square and the forbidden city. I spend 4 days in beijing. I reserved my hotel with trip.com and everything worked fine. If you have time, take an high speed train to Tianjin. The trip is only 37 minutes. This kind of train reaches 350 km/h. Another place to visit in Beijing is the lama temple. Remember to download alipay before coming to China or you won't be able to pay

Unspeakable Dreamer
Jingshan Park
This is the place where the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Chongzhen, hanged himself: Coal Hill. It has now become a World Cultural Heritage Site and a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit: Jingshan Park. Jingshan Park was the imperial garden of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, and Wanchun Pavilion is located at the top of Jingshan, at the center of the central axis, and is the highest point in the capital during the Ming and Qing dynasties. "I heard that the imperial city is under my feet" ... Standing on the Wanchun Pavilion of Jingshan and overlooking the Forbidden City, looking around, you can see the ancient capital's charm and the beauty of the capital. You can see the ancient capital's charm, with its golden splendor and ancient simplicity, and the modern city's style, with its towering buildings and bustling modernity. The open view allows you to see the whole city of Beijing. The Forbidden City, the White Pagoda, the China Zun, the CCTV Headquarters, the National Museum, the Great Hall of the People, the National Grand Theater, the Bell and Drum Towers, and other iconic buildings are all in sight. This is a witness to history. Emperor Kangxi once climbed here and sighed, "The clouds are a thousand feet high, and the mountains and rivers are all in sight." Today, I stand here and touch the pulse of history, as if I have traveled through time and space, talking to the past, and returned to the era of imperial power...
