Cyprus in winter? Why not?!
The weather is mild and nice, around 20C. It’s 5 times less tourists then in summer time, all cafes and restaurants will welcome you with their best tables
I’ve got one day itinerary in Limassol for you:
☀️ MORNING: you should start in the Old Town and its narrow winding streets. Get some breakfast and good coffee in one of the small cozy cafes: Jam, Alice or Natives Limassol.
☀️ Then explore the medieval Limassol Castle. Whilst the current castle dates back to the 16th century, it is said that Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Naverre on this site crowning her the Queen of England. The castle houses the Medieval Museum of Cyprus which, for those that enjoy museums, is a great way to learn more about the history of this island.
☀️ Walk in Limassol Marina, modern development south part, past the most amazing rubber tree you’ll ever see, filled with high-end shops, restaurants and bars, luxury villas and super yachts
☀️ For late lunch: There are many great places to eat in Limassol, mostly centred around the square in the Old Town, but I would recommend you Ta Kokkalakia Street Grill. Tasty food with very good prices.
☀️ And for a drink or two visit Novak bar, boho design, great atmosphere and salsa dances will make your evening amazing
