99% of people don't know that the free double rainbow stairs are in Beijing.
99% of people don't know that the free double rainbow stairs are in Beijing. Shijingshan is so good at architectural aesthetics. After being amazed by Shougang Park, I found this huge rainbow staircase. This building is so amazing. I took my mom there during the holiday. It's a huge multifunctional cultural center, good for taking photos and having fun. There are not only rainbow stairs and piano key stairs, but also public welfare movies on B1, a free book bar on the first floor, a central theater for performances, a 24-hour reading room, and exhibitions on the 4th to 8th floors. The subway goes directly to the place, and the transportation is convenient. You can take photos for free without making a reservation. You can see a double rainbow on a sunny day, and there is a dreamy colorful starry sky at night. It's a great place to take photos all day long. It's a great place to take kids, stroller-friendly, with plenty of accessible facilities, and you can get hot water. Photography tips: If you want to take photos of the rainbow stairs, you must choose a sunny day. In the morning, the sun will shine directly on the stairs, and the rainbow will be more obvious. If the sun is too strong, it is recommended to wear dark clothes to avoid overexposure. Travel tips: The rainbow stairs are on the third floor, and you need to go up the stairs on the second floor. Push open the glass door and you will see them. After going up the rainbow stairs, turn right and walk to the end to see the piano stairs. No reservation is required if you don't visit the exhibition. If you want to visit the exhibition, please check the Shijingshan Public Culture WeChat official account. You need to bring your ID card to the reading room. Location: Shijingshan Cultural Center. Transportation: Take Metro Line 6 to Xihuangcun Station, exit from Exit C2, and walk for a few hundred meters. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00–21:00. Closed on Monday. Each exhibition has different hours. Remember to check the exhibition hours on the Shijingshan Public Culture WeChat official account in advance.

Super fun, had a great time
The only amusement park in Beijing with a Ferris wheel, but it is often underestimated due to its old condition. Fortunately, most tourists go to Happy Valley, leaving Shijingshan for us. The prices here are affordable, and we come every winter and summer vacation. There are fewer people, no lines, and you can enjoy more than a dozen rides in one morning.
Location: Exit A, Bajiao Amusement Park Station, Line 1
Tickets and Time: Unlimited play for 99.9R before 8.31, 9:00 - 21:30, with a castle fountain light show at night.
Treasure Projects:
Water projects are a must. There are two log flume rides (both provide raincoats) and a canyon rafting ride. In Happy Valley, you have to wait two to three hours, but here, there are no lines, and you can even stay on the boat for two or three rounds. The backward log flume ride is super fun.
The 50-meter high swing is as worthwhile as the 50R sunset coaster in Chaoyang Park. You can overlook the entire area and plan your next play spot.
Several roller coasters, not very high but with a sense of weightlessness, even those who are timid or afraid of heights can enjoy them.
The space slide is similar to the miner's small train in Happy Valley. Speed and excitement, happy takeoff, and you won't want to leave even after playing three times.
Double-decker carousel, take as many photos as you want. If it's hard to take good photos while moving, there's a rest area with the old carousel project where you can take static photos until you're satisfied.
The aerial cycling project, UFO cycling is fun, and the forest scenery is beautiful. You can ride it as aerobic exercise.
Many spinning flight projects suitable for children make it a child-friendly amusement park!
The Ferris wheel ticket is not included; it costs 50R for one round, which takes about thirty minutes. Since it is a fully enclosed cabin, it can get hot and stuffy.
Currently, there is an immersive theater under the Ferris wheel called 'Tang Dynasty Weird Record,' which requires a separate ticket, costing more than ninety yuan, with a VR experience of about 30 minutes. The flying series is similar to Happy Valley's 'Flying Over the Aegean Sea,' costing 30R per person, and you can take children to play and learn about geography.
Shijingshan Amusement Park, from childhood to adulthood, although old, is cheap and fun. The joy of smooth and unqueued play is a must for holidays!

The light show at Shijingshan Amusement Park collided with the sparkler performance
⛱️ Must-visit spot: The Ferris wheel is worth a ride.
🌄 Travel tips: The park is not very large, and there aren't many facilities.
🏨 Accommodation tips: There are hotels nearby, which are not too expensive.
💗 Other tips: The sparkler performance is a limited-time event, not sure if it's available normally
