Not many will think of Colombo, Sri Lanka as a bucketlist for a tourist destination, many also will think that Sri Lanka is also part of India. Let's throw that all away! Sri Lanka is a place popular with the many tea plantations thruout the entire country and to see that, hop onto one of the most scenic train ride that starts from Ella To Bandulla. The entire journey we paid was about $1 but of course don't expect 1st class treatment in the train, but you will be able to reserve a seat in one of the carriage to give you panoramic view of the surrounding where you will meet tea plantations, scenic Mountain backdrops and thru the many towns, its a relatively relaxing route. After flying thousands of kilometers, I finally checked in 🇱🇰Sri Lanka's stilt fishermen. The Kogal stilt fishermen are really photogenic! It was featured on the cover of Lonely Planet magazine in 2009. It is said that because fishermen cannot afford fishing boats, they set up fishing rods in the shallows, which is called "the best fishing method in the world"🎣 ⏳Visiting time: Recommendation🌄Go in the morning from 5:30-7:00 or in the evening from 17:30-18:30, the light is soft and there are fewer tourists. The sea water is relatively clear during the dry season from November to April of the following year, and the film yield is higher. 📝Notes: [1] Climbing the wooden poles requires a certain amount of balance, and you can pay about 500 rupees (12 yuan) to experience sitting on the poles; [2] You can visit Galle Fort on the way, which takes about 40 minutes by car, and experience the Dutch colonial style.
