Baihualing Tropical Rainforest is one of the best natural places to visit in Hainan Island. One of the main attractions of Baihualing is its stunning waterfalls. The spot is perfect to immerse yourself in nature surrounded by dense greenery and biodiversity. There is also a shuttle speed skating trail which I absolutely love! After exploring nature, finishing with a burst of adrenaline and fun is the best thing to end the day. Apart from these two attractions there are many other spots to explore. After a scenic self-drive from Kuala Lumpur, we arrived in this small town nestled in nature. The Kampar River awaited us, and after a safety briefing, we were off, navigating the rapids with adrenaline pumping as the cool water splashed all around. The lush greenery and towering trees lining the river made the experience unforgettable, with nature at its finest. 🏨 After a thrilling day on the river, we checked into Sebayu Retreat Gopeng for our first night. The tranquil setting was perfect for unwinding, surrounded by nothing but the sounds of the rainforest. The next day, we explored more of Gopeng before heading to Adeline Villa, a hidden gem tucked deep into the jungle, for our second night. The cozy wooden chalets were a true escape into nature. 📷 The natural rainforest surrounding Gopeng was a photographer’s dream. Every turn offered stunning views, whether it was the lush greenery along the riverbanks during rafting or the misty, towering trees near our accommodations. The best spot? Catching the early morning sunlight filtering through the forest at Adeline Villa. 🍜 One of the highlights at Adeline Villa was the food. The homestyle meals, prepared with local ingredients, were a feast for the senses. Don’t miss their signature dishes—tender chicken rendang, fragrant curry, and stir-fried greens, all packed with authentic flavors. 💡 Remember to pack insect repellent! Walking along the trails, we felt completely immersed in nature, surrounded by the sounds of birds and the rustling of leaves. The cool, fresh air and the majestic beauty of the rainforest made it a peaceful and rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The trees were the highlight of our experience, standing tall and proud, a reminder of the timeless beauty of nature.

Baihualing is part of the tropical rainforest area in Hainan. I love going to the rainforest because it’s great exercise, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the animals around you are in abundance! I was sitting on a tree stump near the peak when a school of butterflies fluttered in 8 formation for nearly 20 minutes all around us. There is a stream that runs from the peak and also a glass bridge tube slide down to the bottom, if you feel adventurous. #malaysia Here's a treat for those looking for something unique to do in peninsular Malaysia that's not over rated or expensive: visit Ulu Bendul Recreation Park, located in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. That's about a 2.5-3hr drive from Singapore, or 1.5hr from Kuala Lumpur. Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul sits at the foot of Gunung Angsi, a beautiful mountain with lush rainforests. This recreation park has been developed around a freshwater river, and has fun activities for everyone! Apart from the many streetfood and snack stalls, the park has plenty of space dedicated to playing in the water - there are several large soaking pools, a small freshwater stream, and the much larger freshwater river that originates in the mountains. Ao Nang, Krabi📍 5 Nights in Krabi! Krabi was one of the places in Thailand that I was excited for, but it didn’t really meet our expectations. Similar to Koh Samui, Ao Nang felt totally full of tourists and completely dedicated to tourists. One of my biggest hates is when people try and beckon you into their restaurant or shop😂and you just could not walk anywhere without someone shouting ‘tuk tuk’ or ‘hungry?? Khao Sok📍 2 nights in the most gorgeous place I’ve ever been. Khao Sok National Park consists of lush rainforests, deep caves, limestone cliffs and green lakes. We were lucky enough to stay on a floating bungalow, overlooking the breathtaking scenery. The company that we booked with, Smiley Tours, took us on safari expeditions & jungle and cave trekking experiences. The jungle & cave trekking was undoubtedly one of the scariest and most vulnerable experiences of my life! The walk through the jungle was insanely dangerous. We walked on crumbling footpaths and rickety bridges. The caves were loaded with creatures that looked like they weren’t meant to be seen by humans, as if they were made for the dark and never should be seen by light- huge spiders, frogs, snake-like fish, bats, crabs. We were constantly walking on wet, jagged rocks and placing our feet blindly within dark water. But, despite the imminent danger of the trek, it was an experience that I will forever remember fondly, as I have never been able to see nature so untouched and in it’s truest form. Yalong Bay Rainforest Paradise Take a bus up to the top of the mountain. It's very popular and a bit packed - but the glass bridge is pretty cool and the views to Yalong Bay are great. I decided to do the hiking trail down the mountain to the Orchid garden. The staff told me you couldn't walk, take a bus! But I persevered and there's a hiking trail down the mountain! You'll be practically the only person doing it! I think I met only two groups of people - one of whom were lost and walked back down again, once I told them it was a 2km climb up! 🤣 The price is about 158rmb for the bus and entrance fees. Other activities are extra - e.g. the glass bridge is another 90! Not cheap! But if you're a few days in the area, it's worth it. #yalongbay #tropical #rainforest #crowds

Rainforest Cafe is a big chain of restaurant located world wide with more than 40 over restaurant but they have closed down more than half where Las Vegas rainforest cafe still exists but shifted to planet Hollywood at the Las Vegas resort and casino where it once used to be at the MGM Grand Hotel. This place is a must visit due to the very fun unique atmosphere theme where the chairs are designed to be in animal chairs and the many lights and sounds of the rainforest being played thruout your entire experience here. Basic Hiking spot in Sepilok Rainforest Discovery Centre and also for those who want to challenge yourself for long canopy walk, this is the best forest nature place to visit. Approximately 3 hours to 4 hours to complete the visit and walk. The entrance fees is very affordable for the centre to keep the nature and forest reserved. If you are lucky enough, you will able to spot the beautiful and unique birds and forest reptiles. But, always be careful. The best place for meditation and self-reflection if you love green nature, here you go, the Forest Edge Resort is one of the best places to stay in Sepilok. I choose this place because I’m staying in the concrete city everyday and I need to refresh both my mentally and physically and i am looking for a natural, jungle retreat which only 2.50 minutes away flight from Kuala Lumpur. I dated my three girlfriends and we go for the stylish eco-chalets are made with woods that have been recycled from Chinese houses. Furnishings are tasteful and rustic and have been inspired by Malay culture. 2 bedrooms that occupied 3 single beds and 1 queen bed. The best experienced I had is rain shower in the open area viewing the greenery and listening to the birds and nature sounds. The 1st time in my experience I slept with the real rainforest sound came from unknown multitudes of insects stridulate so loudly that the air nearly vibrates with their calls. Clear, flutelike birdsong rings out between the rhythmic chirps of unseen frogs, pounding out a steady beat from the forest floor. I wake up with fresh air and really feel good. Tirimbina Natural Reserve is a beautiful example of private conservation in Costa Rica. Located in La Virgen of Sarapiqui, primary and secondary rainforest are preserved in 345 hectares. Great location for bird 🐦 watching. Tirimbina biological reserve has 4 hiking paths open for public, accessed through a hanging bridge, that allows you to walk over the Sarapiqui river (and enjoy the rafting). Restaurant is highly recommended, great service and nice food. Lodge is quite nice, although some rooms have one shared bathroom. Location : Apollo Bay Beech Forest It's around 200kms/2.5 hours from Melbourne CBD, 40kms/1 hour Apollo Bay. 2 Great hikes for any hike lovers. Hopetoun Falls: approx 200 steps down to the Falls which also include a viewing platform for those who decides not to talk down. Beauchamp Falls: 1.6-2km return walk with a well paved track. Strenuous walk due to a constant uphill and steps on the way back. Both hikes are only a 10/15mins drive away but do take note that Beauchamp Falls will require you to drive onto a dirt road for approx 3km to reach the carpark. These animals are absolutely incredible to see in the wild! My trip started before sunrise, the driver collected me from Medan city and drove to the jungle. The driver is well versed with google translate and is a very helpful, thoughtful and friendly person! Arriving at the meeting point, I waited 10minutes for other people to arrive and join the trek. We were given a lot of information about what to expect. My guides were Darabi and Haikal. These two gentlemen are funny, entertaining and very knowledgeable! They prepared lunch and we ate in the middle of the jungle, fried rice with egg and a lot of fruit. We saw about 7 orangutans and a few monkeys.
