It was my first time staying at a motel.
I was curious about what it would be like.
So exciting...
When you think of a motel,
you imagine being able to park your car close to your room along the roadside in America.
Like parking your car in a garage and then entering your room...
The SPICE MOTEL OKINAWA I stayed at also had rooms where you could park your car in a garage and enter your room.
I checked in at the reception as usual and went up to my room.
The hallway in front of the rooms was long and there were many rooms, so I almost got lost several times...
The hotel has
a living space and a terrace with an excellent view✨
Since it's on the way to Aeon Mall Okinawa Rycom,
you can see the shopping mall, roads, and buildings very well🤣

We booked this hotel because it is a 7-minute walk to the remote island terminal, as we were heading to Iriomote Island the next day!
This hotel consists of two buildings: the main hotel building and the adjacent condo building. If you book the condo building, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink beverages, including alcohol, in the lounge from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM 🍷
*Guests in the hotel building can use the lounge for an additional ¥1,000.
The condo building is highly recommended as it is equipped with a mini kitchen, cooking utensils, and even a washing machine ✨

Manzamo is located in Onna Village, Okinawa, and is a spot characterized by the view from the cliffs with a vast lawn.
"Ke" means "field" in Okinawa dialect, and means "field large enough for 10,000 people to sit". A natural grass field still spreads over the cliffs.
The road to the sightseeing spot is a little narrow, so it is difficult to enter with a stroller or wheelchair.
Take a photo of the emerald green sea and the stone like an elephant's trunk together! !

Get on the highway from Naha, Okinawa, and drive a rental car for about an hour and a half.
It's a bit far from Naha, but Sesoko Beach is only a 2-3 minute walk away, so there aren't many people and you can spend a quiet time there.
From the ocean view rooms, you can see the ocean as far as the eye can see.
Even at the end of October, I was still able to go to the beach and the pool.
They have sunset and sunrise yoga classes, and I participated in the sunrise class. It was great to do yoga on the sand while listening to the sound of the waves.
They also have fireworks every Saturday, which entertain the guests. I'd love to go again!

[Okinawa] Tomigusuku City: A fantastic aquarium where digital art and fish come together
DMM Kariyushi Aquarium is located on the grounds of IIAS Okinawa Toyosaki, a shopping mall near Naha Airport in Tomigusuku City. It opened in May 2020. It is a new type of entertainment aquarium that makes full use of the latest video expression and spatial design. It is compact in size and mainly features freshwater and saltwater fish. It also handles small animals and birds. The videos, exhibits, and lighting are designed to be visually appealing, so you can enjoy the space with the fish. There is a jellyfish corner and a corner where you can walk on the aquarium tanks. The fantastical world is also recommended for dates. There are also sloths in the small animal corner. They are lazy and often sleep, so you would be lucky if you could see them moving. Admission is 2,800 yen for adults. It is close to Naha Airport, so why not visit it once as a spot to spend your free time during your trip or on a rainy day in Okinawa? [DMM Kariyushi Aquarium]

It is conveniently located for sightseeing, just a 3-minute walk from Kokusai-dori Avenue.
Cocktail hours at the Club Lounge, available exclusively to guests on the Club Floor, are wonderful!
Sparkling wine and Awamori, a local Okinawan liquor, are available for unlimited consumption.
The wide selection of snacks is also very tasty.
We were very satisfied with the quality, which is hard to believe for a reasonably priced hotel.
Rooms are not large, but they are clean and very comfortable!
Club rooms have La Bottega's "CO.BIGELOW" series shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, and there are eco-friendly bags that you can take home.

[Okinawa] Tomigusuku City: Jump into the world of miniatures! A new hybrid entertainment park
Little Universe OKINAWA is located on the grounds of the shopping mall IIAS Okinawa Toyosaki, near Naha Airport in Tomigusuku City. This is Okinawa's newest spot, which opened in April 2024. It is an entertainment facility that combines the latest technologies such as digital spatial production, miniatures, and AR. Admission is 2,800 yen for adults. Okinawa residents can get a discount of 2,000 yen. An additional 1,500 yen will be charged for creating your own real avatar and 3D stamp. However, there is a discount campaign until January 31, 2025. A set of admission ticket + real avatar creation is 2,500 yen for adults. We purchased tickets as a set. When we passed through the entrance, we found spaces with various themes. The atmospheres of the spaces were completely different, such as the world of mirrors, the Ryukyu Dynasty area, and the retro Tokyo area, so we were able to enjoy each one fresh. Once you create your real avatar, you can enter this miniature world using your smartphone. The avatars can be easily controlled with a smartphone to walk, run, dance, etc., and can be recorded as they are or in photos and videos, so it was very interesting.
After the miniature world, we watched RYU-KYU Universe, where the scenery of Okinawa is projected in 360 degrees using projection mapping.
Okinawa's representative scenery was turned into a wonderful image using digital technology.
Once you have gone through all the areas, there is a souvenir corner, a kids' space, and a cafe where you can get light meals.
It is Okinawa's newest spot and is highly recommended!

Hello! It's Mayan ☀️I went to the Kariyushi Aquarium on my recent trip to Okinawa and it was highly recommended, so I'd like to ask you about it!! The exhibits, such as the Okinawan coral sea exhibit, the aquarium exhibit integrated with video, and the experience of riding on top of the aquarium and feeling like you're in the ocean, are all amazing in their ingenuity in the exhibition space. There is also a corner where you can meet animals, not just sea creatures, and there is no concept of fences or cages! You can meet cute animals up close! The cutest thing was the sloths after all~ I couldn't help but love the way they moved slowly with their round eyes♡
It was less crowded than the Churaumi Aquarium, so I was able to spend time leisurely, and the exhibits were not too few or too many, so I was very satisfied with the aquarium. Please go and check it out

If you are going on a girls trip to Okinawa, this is a recommended place.
The room is very cute and the view from the balcony is amazing.
There is a pool and a private beach.
You can choose from three breakfast locations and it is luxurious.
The location is also good, so it is easy to go sightseeing.

There were many places that made me want to take photos.
It has become a favorite place that I want to go back to.

Tall palm trees typical of Okinawa stand under the blue sky, offering a unique tropical landscape.
It felt like exploring a jungle.
Interacting with animals was also fun.
It is also recommended because it is close to the Churaumi Aquarium, making it easy to visit before or after the aquarium.
Okinawa's Kouri Bridge.
Simply beautiful. At the end of Kouri Bridge, there's a beach where you can swim for free, and everyone was swimming there. It's such a luxury, and I'm envious of the people of Okinawa. I heard that you can see sea turtles from the bridge, so I tried to spot them, but I couldn't because there were jet skis around. The locals said that you can easily see them as they come up for air every few minutes. I hope to see one someday.

Of course, I recommend going during the day or in the evening, but the best time is definitely at night🥹🎶

A remote island that can be reached from the main island of Okinawa in just under an hour by high-speed boat or about 90 minutes by ferry. Miyakojima and Ishigakijima are popular, but personally, this one is by far my favorite!
You can experience a true remote island with only a few shops and restaurants and a few traffic lights.
It's several levels prettier than the main island, and incomparable to Hawaii, with a beautiful sea that easily surpasses the famous beaches of Southeast Asia.
There are many observation decks, but the view of Unaji no Sachi at sunset is a must-see!
[Irabu Island] A hidden gem in the sugarcane fields
📍Nudokubiabu, Irabu Island (Okinawa) Accessible from Miyako Island by crossing the 3,540m long Irabu Bridge, Irabu Island is a mysterious power spot on this island that only a few people know about🩵
You enter through an entrance that makes you wonder if it's from here, and you can reach this mysterious space by going through the jungle and down the stairs😌✨
If you can visit when the light is shining in, it will feel even more mysterious✨✨
It is a naturally formed 22m deep vertical hole in a sugarcane field, and was used as an air raid shelter during World War II.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is also wonderful, and you can choose from a rich menu of main dishes, which you can also take out to your room or poolside🤗
We had a 10:00 check-out, so it was great to be able to have a leisurely brunch after completing the procedures😆

The bedroom wallpaper is decorated with Ryukyu Bingata, and there are cute illustrations of shisa, which are very characteristic of Okinawa🫶

The infinity pool is built to jut out towards the sea🌴
It's heated, so you can use it 24 hours a day, all year round, and the shallow area has a water depth of just 10cm, which made it fun to play in the water without even having to change into a swimsuit🥰
Most of the guests were from overseas, but everyone was well-mannered and it was a quiet and calm space✨
