We spent our first morning at Dada coffee shop for our our luang prabang trip. The coffee shop is in a convenient location, with a beautiful view of Mekong River, a really peaceful and relaxing environment. They have a large outdoor terrace and balcony where you can enjoy your coffee and looking at a charming of mekong river, you also can stay indoor if need air-conditioning.
My highlights - sitting upper balcony and taking a Lao black coffee and hot flat white coffee - is really good taste, good price.

oldest coffee shop
I had passed by this coffee shop a couple of times. It was quite intriguing to read that this was the oldest coffee shop in Japan. It seems that in the past, it was a tea shop, and coffee was also imported from overseas.
I think they were serving coffee to customers at the store. Next door in the same building is a tea shop. I ordered the Kuroge Wagyu beef curry set. I ordered coffee in the pot size listed on the menu. The curry was well-cooked and the meat was tender and delicious. I enjoyed two cups of coffee and it was delicious.

This is the Tranquil establishment that I like and come back to the most. Also because I like the courtyard and the vibes that this place brings. A Korean restaurant with creative fusion dishes and an intimate and romantic space. Located on the main street of Hai Ba Trung, although small, the design is modern, stylish and artistic. The highlight is the bar area connected to the open kitchen, where you can eat and drink while "enjoying" the performance of the chefs. Coming to Jumarc this time, I tried the Set Menu of the vietnamrestaurantweek event organized by diningcity.vn - 1 pax 750k++.
The appetizer is Miss Korea Salad, with Jumarc-style spicy sauce combined with vegetables, smoked pork belly, seaweed and soy-marinated quail eggs. Next is Korean Tarte with Fried Seaweed - raw beef balanced in flavor with egg yolk, pear, and rice paper with fried seaweed, this dish is delicious and if you close your eyes, you probably won't be able to guess that you are eating raw beef. The main course is Hermès Tteokbooki and Rib Eye Galbi Steak. Overall presentation, eye-catching colors, quite delicious flavor, rice cakes combined with rich sauce and fragrant grilled fresh shrimp. Just the other day I went to Contrast location 1, but now there is already a 3rd location. The new location with modern design, black - white - red brand color tones and a relatively large area are what Contrast brings to customers. The new location has 2 floors, with a wide, minimalist facade, beautiful for taking pictures. The 1st floor is suitable for chatting and meeting, while the 2nd floor is quiet and private, so it is suitable for studying and working. The highlight is the "mini library" with about 15,000 books and is designed on a magnificent shelf system.
Diverse drinks, large cup sizes, I drank pomegranate lotus oolong tea, which was strange and quite delicious.

Central location, minimalist design on a lovely house frame. The highlight is the facade, and what I like is the pretty chill second floor courtyard. The second floor has 2 rooms and an outside courtyard with tables and chairs arranged reasonably. There is a large table so it is okay to sit and work. The outside is beautiful for photos, check-fit is okay, but it will probably be more open around 2pm.
Diverse drinks, delicious matcha with 3 options: matcha latte, matcha coco and matcha mango. Iced latte with nut milk or avocado coffee is also a good choice.

This new interface is more impressive and outstanding with a beautiful facade, it looks small from the outside but has "depth" inside. The main color tones are brown, white, and black, trendy with natural light from the skylight outside and cozy from the yellow lighting system inside. Contemporary architecture with many arches, eye-catching, soft, and artistic overview.
The menu with the signature is entremet cakes and the drinks are quite diverse for me. The tea is okay, combined with fresh fruit, creative flavor, refreshing and goes well with cakes.

Alluring Cafe
The Cheras building faces the cafe inside, but customers still come and go. It has a high ceiling, protruding holes in the surrounding walls, various small furnishings, and a coffee bar in the center. There are all kinds of hot food and drinks. Unfortunately, I came here after lunch and ordered the special one - Mango Sticky Rice, a Thai-style small drink with coconut and pandan aroma in the mouth, which is refreshing and delicious.

THE PLACE IS REALLY COZY
The place is really cozy, and I like their playlist.
Besides drinks, they also serve Padang rice, with options like chicken gulai, rendang, ayam pop, and dendeng balado. I was actually interested in trying it, but I couldn't stay too long.
They also have Donburi Ichiya, but the menu isn’t as extensive as in the original outlet.
There’s a decoration with a glass filled with water and plants, placed on a piece of wood, it feels like Totoro’s World.

We ordered 4-milk white coffee, and the special of the month - Tiramisu blended of Mascarpone cheese and Ladyfinger biscuits soaked with slight flavor of rum and aromatic drip coffee.
Ambience: We arrived at the coffee shop in the morning when it yet to be crowded. It's pretty spacious with 4 floors, you can catch the city view and partial river view when sitting at the balcony of 3rd floor.
The decoration is kind of natural and millenial vibe, which makes me feel comfy ☺️

THEY NOW HAVE A ROOFTOP AREA
I finally got a chance to stop by here. The place isn’t very big, but it’s quite cozy.
They now have a rooftop area, which you can access through Pempek Leny on the left side. The rooftop has a nice ambiance, and when I visited, the weather was cool, making it really pleasant to sit there with a gentle breeze.
Besides drinks, they also serve food, and you can even order pempek from Pempek Leny!
