MBK Center in Bangkok is one of the city’s most popular shopping destinations. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of shops and merchandise available. It is also connected with High Court, Government Offices and Pacific Place by Footbridge. Admiralty has 2 towers. Admiralty Centre Tower 1 and 2 situated on top of MTR Admiralty Station. Tower 1 is for commercial buildings. It is also connected to Lippo Centre, Fairmont House and Bank of America Tower by Queensway Plaza while Tower 2 is a bridge away to the Pacific Place shopping centre, and hotels such as the Island Shangri-La, JW Marriott, Conrad Hong Kong and The Upper House. It is walking distance to Far East Finance Center, Lippo Centre, the High Court, foreign consulates and government offices. Queensway Plaza Admiralty and Tamar Park Hong Kong are in the neighbourhood. Admiralty Centre has lots of shops you can enjoy.

While this one pales in comparison to the one in Japan in terms of the size of the place and scale of the exhibitions, it is still a fun indoor activity for everyone young and old. The shop sells cup noodles, potato chips and snack fries in interesting flavours such as mala, cookies and cream, and even after dishes sold by well known restaurants such as Pepper Lunch. Some of these items cannot be found outside, and the prices are reasonable compared to those sold outside in convenience stores. Workshops are also conducted here, with the most popular one being the noodle making workshop. The noodle making workshop teaches visitors how to make the noodle from scratch using the dough, and thereafter the noodles are flash fried. The other two workshops are the granola and cup noodle workshops, in which they will feature the processes behind producing the granola and cup noodles through animations flashed on the table coupled with interactive elements such as having to cut up the fruits the fruit ninja style for the granola. Thereafter, cups will be provided to draw and decorate on using your own imagination and creativity, together with a menu to select your own toppings for both granola and cup noodles, and flavour for the granola.

📍Maeklong Railway Market The famous railway market where the train passes a few inches away from you. It takes more than an hour ⏰to get here from Bangkok . Therefore, I recommend going on a group tour to save you money 💰 and the trouble of getting lost. Be sure to get a good spot at least 30 minutes before the train passes to get good shots📸. Everything costs💰much less than it is in Bangkok, it’s a good spot to shop souvenirs. This is a preferred mode of transport to travel between Saphan Taksin BTS to Iconsiam. At Saphan Taksin BTS , there are several shuttle boats, some are complimentary and some are paid. Do not take the wrong boat. Besides going to Iconsiam, there are also complimentary boats to go Asiatique. In Bangkok, the traffic for vehicles is not so ideal so taking the water way is a great mode of transport too. At the same time, you can enjoy the beauty of the famous river and away from all the pollution. The pollution on the river is much less than on the road. There are also many tables and chairs around and you can pay a flat fee to enter to eat the local durian food from Thailand. There are samples for trying too. Welcome to Bangkok special event at Iconsiam for the famous artist Yayoi Kusama and her collaboration with Louis Vuition. This is a free to go event and it is taking place at the riverfront at Iconsiam. When you come to Iconsiam by their shuttle boat, you can see the large display from far. The famous polka dots can be found on sea creatures and be sure to take loads of photos. There is also a large boutique store selling related bags and accessories with the same designs. Bryant Park is located behind New York’s Public Library. This is also my favourite park in New York. It is not as huge as Central Park but it has many free activities. From here, you can have a good view of the surrounding skyscrapers 🏙️ including the famous Empire State Building. There are many table and chairs to sit around and enjoy the park. During winter, this place is transformed to the holiday markets with many holiday booths. #shopandtrip

In their town, the go to place for fresh seafood is the Budai Tourist Fish Market. Here, you can get to see live seafood displayed in big aquarium tanks for sale. In addition to fresh lively seafood, there are also some stalls selling cooked food and snacks with seafood as the main theme to satisfy hunger pangs.

This one stop Decathlon is located at Sri Damansara Kepong in Malaysia. It has its own private parking and you can redeem free parking upon purchase. Some flavours are uniquely available in this store only. Pick and weight your chocolate ($8.99 for 0.5lbs). They also have those ready-packed items as souvenirs. #shopandtrip Taichung Second Market is a small market located near the Taichung Second Market is conveniently located near Taichung train station. This place is just like the daytime version of the night markets that we normally see, as they have many food stalls, apart from the wet market that sells fresh produce. Go for the popular stalls that attract long queues, such as the stalls selling braised pork rice. We went to a stall for lunch known for their noodles that come with their homemade peanut sauce, together with their soup with various types of oden in it. We also tried their red tea that only costs a few dollars for a big cup of refreshing classic red tea. The red tea stall also allows you to select red tea with other toppings for additional cost.

They have many outlets around Hong Kong, making it convenient for visitors to purchase from them. They sell a wide variety of local snacks, biscuits and pastries such as egg rolls and wife biscuits. Do note however, that these pastries and snacks have a short shelf life, hence it is strongly advised to purchase them only on the last day when you are about to fly home.

American Museum of Natural History is an awesome place to visit. You can spend the whole day here as the place is huge. Do some initial game plan first if your time is limited. Tip-buy ticket in advance and you can breeze through the entrance. Don’t bring big bag as they do not have lockers. The place has 4 levels with different themes. Aeon is one of the Japanese malls that I love going to, as it has just about anything and everything! It's the perfect place to do your regular shopping in Japan, from getting cosmetics, groceries, snacks and souvenirs, fresh products, etc. And what's best? It is easy to do your tax refunds/claims at Aeon for tourists too. The aeon mall that I recently visited is Aeon Style Shinagawa Seaside and it was huge. Within Aeon mall, my favourite section would be the fresh fruits section at the supermarket. Everyone knows Japan produces the best Melons and one can find sweet and affordable ones at Aeon, to buy back home. Some of these melons are even packed nicely in boxes. At 450 Yen, one can get a pretty melon. Tons of Japanese snacks can be found and they make good gifts/souvenirs. Over at the pharmacy, there are japanese supplements and even collagen pills at inexpensive prices, which everyone love. A good bundle of branded shampoo and conditioner set is only 800 Yen and you will be spoilt for choice with their variety of cosmetics and personal toiletries. After all those shopping, head over to aeon mall's food court. The food court is clean and spacious with many tables available. I had takopatchi and a 490 Yen udon set, again it's really cheap for food and it satisfied my hunger pangs. Aeon Shinagawa Seaside is an awesome place to shop, grab good deals and to have a simple yet delicious Japanese meal. Have fun shopping there! #shopandtrip

Central Park is a good place to enjoy nature in the middle of Manhattan. The park is very huge so pack some comfortable walking shoes. There is bike rental options but it doest not come cheap (around $15 per hour). There are many food trucks around here. Times Square is one of the busiest pedestrian areas with many dazzling billboards and advertisements. You will be surprised by how bright all these billboards can be at night. There are so many shops around this area for everyone’s need, from M&M to target, Macy.
