The West Lake is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Hangzhou, it is beautiful but also very crowded, especially on weekends. I would recommend a visit to the southern east side which is a bit less crowded and surrounded by many wide beautiful parks. not far from that part of the West Lake, you can find a commercial street named GāoYínJiē with many shops full of souvenirs, local snacks, jewelry, and many other things. Places we visited The first stop was westlake. 🏞 My advice is not to go at noon in the summer months, it would be a better choice in the afternoon or evening. Going to the island where there are 3 pagodas is only possible by boat. July 2024 price is 70 rmb and a little expensive, but you should ride once and see the islands. 🎏 Definitely eat noodles with crab sauce. The place we ate is in a shopping mall called in 88 sth like that. Lingyin temple and the Buddhas carved on the mountain are also must-see beauties🏯 The busy streets of the city and the historic streets leading to westlake are also very warming.🫠 We first went to Westlake at noon but on the second day we went back for sunset. 🌅Two days is a good time to explore the city in general. #hangzhoutrip With the summer 🏝️ time just about to end, these gardens in the Buddha temple oftentimes provide the respite not only for small birds 🕊️ but also for humans. Although the waterfall 💦 is quite an artificial setup, it's effect on people is purely natural with such cool breeze 🌬️. We enjoyed it the most by seeing the blooming flowers 🌺 and the non tiring fishes 🐟; and particularly this place also had 🐢 tortoises which is quite a rare sight as I only have seen turtles (they're quite different) in most places. #hangzhoutrip Step back in time, into the old beautiful water town. This is an incredible place to spend a few hours walking around and enjoy the beautiful architecture. The beauty of the old city has been preserved but there is also a new section with some modern buildings. You can take a boat ride along the canal and the canal along the scenic area was very narrow and there was room for only one boat to move along the canal at a time. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to take a break and get some souvenirs. You can do a day trip from Shanghai. The journey from Shanghai to Hangzhou takes about 2 hours. I had really enjoyed myself discovering the whole of “Wuzhen Water Town” that I really fell in love with the whole nostalgic experience.

#hangzhoutrip I found it by chance while exploring the West Lake as it was a very hot summer decide to enter the enjoy the air conditioning to escape the extreme summer heat It was very big with many exhibits on display. If you are interested in Chinese Art and history this place will definitely be lit of interest to you . While I was there it was not too crowded not sure is it because it a weekday . Anyway I will definitely recommend a visit to this Museum if you happen to be around with plenty of time to spare as the entrance is free

The beautiful and historically Important place in Hangzhou this pagoda has be reviewed by a lot of great personalities around the world, its also the best view tower for having a bird eye view of West lake.
