At this Durian season, a trip to Raub Durian farm to taste the freshest musang king is a must. Depart from house and arrive to Karak highway around 6:45am. The breathtaking view of mountain along Karak Highway is stunning. Stop by raub town for breakfast for the famous roti bakar at Kedai Kopi Sun Yuen Cheong. Drive another half hour to reach the durian farm. Along the road to farm is full of durian seller with full truck of durian. Durian price are cheap here and most importantly fresh, just drop in the midnight. Taste is bitter sweet and texture are creamy. Farm owner are friendly and teach us a lot of knowledge in durian farming. Finish the farm visit tour in 2 hour+ and head to the Fortune God temple (财神庙）at bentong, buy some bentong ginger and lunch then head back to KL with satisfaction. Know what's fun when travelling up from Singapore to Kulai? A group travel with 3 cars from Singapore to a durian farm. An approximately 45mins drive up and finding this durian farm was really tough as there is a dirt road that last about 1km into the farm. This durian farm is called Zhong Cheng Durian Farm located at 939, Jalan Merpati 2, Taman Sin Sawit, 81000 Kulai. This is a rare find and recommended to go with a SUV vehicle, or maybe a car that isn't too low to the ground. Trust me! Driving into this farm is a real adventure. Zhong Cheng Durian people are also very friendly where they will explain to you on the different type of durians and teach you on how to look out for the best quality ones by just smelling them.
