The USAT Liberty is a World War II cargo ship that was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942 and is now a popular dive site in Tulamben area. For the beginners you can only going to 12m area and the deepest part is around 28m – 30mwhere the bow has settled into the sand. When you meet somebody who has been to Indonesia he or she will tell you about Bali, maybe the Gili Islands or at the max Lombok „Mainland“ or Komodo & Flores. But there are so many more Islands to discover! In the west part under Malaysia you can find the beautiful Sumatra, meet the king of the jungle - 🐅 the tiger or visit one of the last places on earth to encounter orangutans in the wild 🦧& at the very tip lays a tiny island called 📍Pulau Weh, about which I want to tell you a bit. 🏝️The island is lush and the greenest „jungeliest“ I have seen so far on my travels. It is an undiscovered beauty where only a few tourists (mainly divers) make it to. You can also find the kilometre zero on the tip of this little gem. Next to the rural jungle awaits you crystal clear water 🌊- but be aware, as it boosts really strong currents! But that‘s what it makes a paradise for experienced divers. Come to find schools of Mobulas, other Rays and Pelagics as well as a pristine Reefs 🪸 with boosting Marine Life which just comes back more & more after the big Tsunami in 2004. Look out for Critters, like Frogfish, Cometfish, Blue Ring Octopus or Mantis Shrimps - but careful, don’t put your camera to close, this little guy is smashing its victims' shells (or your lens) with the force of a .22 caliber bullet. Also beginners can enjoy a few sites, but spots like Arus Balee (Translates to Bastard Current) are only recommended for more skilled divers. The currents can change so fast, that they create an „washing machine“-effect. Scuba, Apnea, You can find excellent diving in Koh Tao (As we fishies all know🐠) but most of the islands visitors only get to know Mae Haad & Sairee Beach. But there ist more! A quick 10min scooter ride brings you to the other side of the island, where you can find Calypso Diving. A 🇩🇪german owned dive shop who also speak 🇫🇷 french 🇵🇱 polish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 english 🇪🇸 spanish & many more languages on request. The highlight here is, that you dive from the shore & get one of the most iconic dive spots on the island! Four turtles residence here & a big swarm of fusilier is housing under the boat of Calypso. If you go for a night or sunset dive be sure to look for 🐙 octopuses between the stackhorncorals, as there are (not joking!) hundreds of tiny reef octis. Bohol has so many great diving sites, and Doljo beach is one of them. The marine life here is beautiful and you get to get up close to turtles. The visibility is pretty decent and the average temperature is 29degrees. Its a perfect dive spot for new and experienced divers. This site is also very close to shore which gives you the opportunity to go back for lunch before your second dive.#doljo #beach #bohol #diving

The lodge is build at a hill and most rooms provide beautiful view on the sea. While relaxing at the beachfront you may can see turtles passing buy or even dolphins. Their outdoor activities are nice and well collected no matter if you go diving or snorkeling or take a tour to the nearby waterfalls or mountains. Also the wale sharks in Oslob are not far away. Their food is very good and most is homemade. If you enjoy a cocktail in the evening you may choose one with their homemade rum. We stayed as a family and enjoyed their big 2-Story apartment where you can relax after you tours and watch the sunset.

Kapalai Resort is a luxury water village built on stilts over the sandbanks of the Ligitan reefs and located only a few minutes by boat from Sipadan and Mabul islands. Facilities - Other resort facilities includes the dive centre which provides diving, snorkeling and kayaking equipment for rent, broadband internet access, a souvenir shop and game room. Scuba diving, Green Island Taiwan. I have always wanted to try scuba diving but I have never found somewhere I felt comfortable enough to do it, so I’m really happy I came to Green Island. We stayed in the Relax Chamber b&b who had onsite dive instructors, you are able to dive with them one on one after training and it is a life changing experience. Most places I have seen scuba in places like Thailand it is group sessions or crazy prices for one on one, here it is roughly $50 for a one on one session with full photos and videos during. You get training on the gear and a full fitting session to make sure everything you are wearing and using is right for your shape and size, the dive instructors are fully licensed and have experience diving all over the world. My instructor was fluent in English and was really supportive when I initially got int he water, letting me float on the surface and test the breathing equipment until I was ready to dive. You dive to a depth of 12 meters and your instructor will check every meter if you are ready to go deeper, reminding you to clear your ears and check your mask as you go deeper. Under the water there are stunning reefs as far as the eye can see and a crazy amount of fish, there were fish of all shapes, colours and sizes and at times you are completely surrounding by entire schools of fish. A highlight for me was seeing turtles in the distance and within the rocks, and waiting long enough for one to swim so close to me I could see every detail of it’s face. It was such a surreal experience and I immediately paid to do it again the next day, my instructor took me to another place to dive this time and helped me explore the reef hunting for as many different fish as possible. I would 100% recommend this as a dive location and I will be going back as soon as I can to get my licence! Began from Jesselton Point Jetty and we boarded boat for about 1 hour ride to the island. Upon arrival, we couldnt help but snap countless photos of the place. The white sandy beach, ocean and sky were too stunning. After gearing up, we went for 2 diving spots. We swam alongside schools of fish, watched as graceful sea turtles glided by, spotted a playful octopus, etc. Back to the island, we had our sumptuous buffet lunch to fill our tummies. There are also free activities available such as snorkeling and kayaking. You may roam around the island on your own or you can also choose to ride their ATV (own expense). #trip #island #travel #diving

May 23 - This trip has been an eye-opener for me. Me being a positive and will-try-anything attitude and will not wanna give up on any challenges, had to stop and reset my mindset to not overthink when you are underwater. Simple easy instructions by an instructor on land will never be the same underwater if you don't let go of what is above you. Technical class I have no problem, pass with flying colours. Making myself relax underwater is not easy as it seems. I salute all the divers out there who dive for leisure or work. Be safe and stay safe. I am not an experienced diver, however, this company made an exception as I have been diving a few times before and had done the discovery scuba-diving course in MoalBoal the day before. My friend and I booked package B at ‘Deep zone dive center’ in Oslob, which includes one whale dive, and two boat dives. The day began at 6:15am where we were picked up at our hotel around the corner in Oslob, then we headed out diving at around 7:45 am for the whale sharks. You get a briefing before you go about the distance you have to keep away from the whale sharks as they are protected and you will be fined if you touch them. The guide, Robert, was very patient and stayed with us the whole time. We had an hour dive at the whale sharks, before having a short break back at the dive centre, and then we went for our two dives on their new boat. The first boat dive we saw some black tip sharks and on the second boat dive we saw lots of schools of fish, some barracuda and tuna. At no point did I feel unsafe and, as you can see from the footage, Robert and his team took some amazing photos as well as videos. The whole day cost 6500 pesos each and lasted around eight hours, a sandwich and water was provided on the boat. Let me tell you about this secret place of mine, Alor Island, in east of Indonesia. I’ve been there for 3 times. You muat wonder why would i go to the same place again and again. Yea, alor island is not a place i would easily forget. I recommend this place for you, diver. At least advance level because most of the dive sites are with current. But you will definitely love it, underwater caverns, overhang everywhere, big fish, small fishes, you name it. Definitely i will come back again 😂😂 Dont even ask about the visibility. So for you non-diver, you can do snorkeling, hiking or biking to explore the island. The locals are so nice and will definitely accept you and offer their help for anything you need. Explore their daily life,culture and i am sure this will make you appreciate life even more!! It is under develop place but i do love it! 👋 Hi everyone, I just came back from an amazing trip to Komodo Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Indonesia 🇮🇩 🐉 Komodo Islands are home to the largest living lizard on earth, the Komodo dragon. These creatures can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh up to 150 kg. They are also venomous and can run up to 20 km/h. I was lucky enough to see them up close on a guided trekking tour in Komodo National Park 🌳 🌊 But Komodo Islands are not only about dragons. They also have some of the most stunning marine life I've ever seen. I went snorkeling and diving in the crystal clear waters and saw colorful corals, turtles, manta rays, sharks, dolphins, and more 🐠 🏝 The islands also have beautiful beaches, some of them with pink sand. I loved relaxing on the shore and watching the sunset over the horizon 🌅 🙌 This trip was one of the best experiences of my life and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and adventure. #celebratewithtrip Our trip to Vietnam was solely for hiking purpose. We made a stop at Hanoi from Malaysia. A journey by flight took us around 3 hours and 20 minutes. We enjoyed the hustle bustle of the city. There are lots of nice cafes and restaurants, people are selling just about anything by the road side, cyclists and motorists filled up the busy city centre. we actually waiting for our night train to Sapa. so we had 10 hours to spend in the city centre and we braved the busy traffic like a pro at the end of the day. we enjoyed the food and the people were so friendly. hopefully i would be able to revisit here adrenalinejunkie #diving #outdoors

✈️Getting There - Take the plane to Puerto Princesa and take a van to El Nido. From El Nido, take a boat to Coron 🤿Attractions - One of the best dive sites in the Philippines. The Barracuda Lake in Coron is a surreal lake with a legend of a lonely barracuda. The water temp gets warm as you descent. There are also tons of wreck around Coron, if you love wreck diving, it’s the perfect diving destination for you. Plenth of travel agency there that offers island hopping day trip, we explored some really divine island through the trips, you can bargain for a better price with the agent. Hotels - Hotel is cheap, we didn’t book in advance, so lots of hotel and hostels were full during the time. So we settled for somewhere that’s more basic and affordable, but the environment are clean, if you’d like to stay somewhere nice. making sure you book it before you go. 🍽️Food & Restaurants - Plenty of diner and restaurant along the beaches. Moalboal, a town at the southwest tip of Cebu, is popular for some water activities given its location and natural ecosystem. Just 2 and a half hours away from the City, Moalboal is abundant in Sardines, and yes, giant Turtles. We decided to try free diving and experience its underwater treasures. Equipped with just our goggles and life vests, we cling on to our makeshift floater and swam 50 meters from the shore. Our guide help us navigate the ocean and point us to where we can have the chance encounter with Giant Turtles. One by one, we took free dive up to five meters deep. And it was not very long, someone saw the seemingly passive and quiet giant turtle freely swimming in the ocean floor scouring for food. We broke away from the floaters and tried to dive and catch up with the Turtles, which seemed to be on their on world, not minding the chaos and excitement from us divers. The Turtles spent almost half an hour walking and swimming and we patiently and amazingly observed. Boracay is often portrayed and is best know for its long, powdery white beaches and its very lively night life. But Boracay is not all that. Deep with the crystal clear and warm waters of this Tropical Paradise lies a wonderful and colorful word hiding in plain sight. Last April, I had my last solo trip in Boracay since the travel restrictions. In one of those sunny afternoon while I bask under the sun with my cocktails on one hand, I was invited by a tour operator to join the group out to go diving. And without giving it much thought, I just went out and go. The next thing I know, I was assigned to pair with another solo traveler with SCUBA and diving gear attached to my back. We were the first to be "thrown" to the water. With the help of our guide, we were taken down the deep and instantly got transported to a different living world filled with colors and vibrance. We saw colorful corals and got to swim with the fish and see other life under water. Try seeing Boracay in a different vantage point.
