When in El Nido, don’t miss out on visiting Nacpan. There are a lot of things you can do in Nacpan aside from just swimming at the beach. If you are lucky enough to visit during hatching season, you will be able to see turtles! I spent half day traveling to nacpan. If you are coming from El Nido town, it’s around 30-40 mins ride and 20-30 mins ride from Lio Estate area. I hired a tricycle to take me there costs around Php 1000. I availed a day tour at Angkla Beach resort for Php 1000 (consumable of food and drinks and use of pool until 5pm). At last, the vacation we were all waiting for finally happened. Our travel barkada went to El Nido just last week and it was hella fun! We spent a night in Puerto Princesa, hoping to experience the Firefly watching dinner, but since it was raining, we had to cancel it. We travelled to El Nido the next morning via land for about 6 hours. It was a long ride but everybody needed those hours to take a nap and rest because all the days that came after, well, we were beat! From ziplining to swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking, we did it all! This is by far the best vacation we have ever had and I cant't wait to write a full blog about it. The food eas great and the locals were friendly! The tour guides are very accommodating and approachable. And did I mention they take the best photos? They do! From portraits to wide angle shots, they even direct how you will pose and they tell you when your hair doesnt't look good. The place was nothing I have seen before. The islands were mesmerizing to look at. The water was crystal clear everywhere we went. The rocks looked like they pierced the water from the ocean up! It was amazing and I can't wait to go back with my family. And yes, El Nido, I was enchanted to meet you. Of course, if you're booking a trip, you'll always need a place to stay. Here, we booked El Nido Garden Resort. It's located in Calle Hama, Brgy. Buena Suerte, El Nido. For its rate, we got a comfortable bedroom with a balcony and a view, buffet breakfast, a nice and cozy ambiance, a large pool where we relaxed and a mesmerizing beachfront view where I got to watch the sky turn bright. The sun wasn't visible in the area but I enjoyed filming the sky at five in the morning. There was also a gym, a spa, and a billiards table. They also have a roofdeck where you can see the beach and the pool area. It's a really good place to just chill and drink. The restaurant has a homey feel to it and the staff would always greet you. The food was superb! Although there were limited choices for the breakfast, we surely enjoyed ordering their barkada set for dinner. They made up the room daily when we went out for our tour which is a plus because not all hotels do it unless you request it. The staff were approachable and would gladly give recommendations on places to be and to eat. We walked along the main street where most of the restaurants and bars are located. The prices, of course, are higher than usual so we just gotta choose wisely. A lot of souvenir shops are also open at night and there were people along the streets who sell bracelets and other accessories. Also, the hotel is only around 5-min walk to where we were picked up for our tours. No hassle in commuting daily for the tours. ENGR made our vacation much more relaxing and enjoyable. The guys played billiards, I got to watch the dawn and read my book in the pool area. If I ever go back to El Nido, it would be a pleasure to stay in ENGR again. I went to El Nido for a few days and did Tour A, Tour C and Tour D. I was so fascinated when I reached at some of the places like Small Lagoon even knowing that it would be beautiful from the pictures beforehand. The limestone rock formations, the white-sand beaches, the pristine water… El Nido just has it all. The town is quite touristy and also worth a visit. Want to go back already #ElNido

✈️Getting There - Take the plane to Puerto Princesa and take a van to El Nido. From El Nido, take a boat to Coron 🤿Attractions - One of the best dive sites in the Philippines. The Barracuda Lake in Coron is a surreal lake with a legend of a lonely barracuda. The water temp gets warm as you descent. There are also tons of wreck around Coron, if you love wreck diving, it’s the perfect diving destination for you. Plenth of travel agency there that offers island hopping day trip, we explored some really divine island through the trips, you can bargain for a better price with the agent. Hotels - Hotel is cheap, we didn’t book in advance, so lots of hotel and hostels were full during the time. So we settled for somewhere that’s more basic and affordable, but the environment are clean, if you’d like to stay somewhere nice. making sure you book it before you go. 🍽️Food & Restaurants - Plenty of diner and restaurant along the beaches. El Nido is a famous tourist destination in the Philippines, and like many beautiful places, it’s hard to get to. I started on my solo adventure and landed at Puerto Princesa International Airport. El Nido is located around 5 hour drive from Puerto Princessa so I decided to stay in the city for a night. I didn’t know yet that I made a giant mistake of not booking my El Nido accommodation in advance, because EVERYTHING was fully booked and I only managed to book a hotel room only 4 nights in advance. So I had 4 nigh in Puerto Princessa. It was a bit boring in the city so I took a tour to an underground river. And it was a beautiful journey. A few days later I got on the minivan and started on my trip to El Nido. The ride seemed long and we arrived in the evening. There is almost no service in El Nido so you need to be prepared to have no internet. It took me some time to find my hotel with no internet. I stayed near the beach so the same night I went partying on my own, made some friends and had a lot of fun. I booked Island Hopping Tour A with a tour agency and went to sleep. The next day I rented coral shoes on the beach first and got on the boat, we went to multiple islands and saw a lot of corals, cliffs, a fish 🐠 even bit me on the leg! It was a beautiful experience, those islands were spectacular! We spend a couple of hours on a beautiful sandy beach with a stunning view ☀️ After a few days in the busy touristy town of El Nido, I decided to head to Nacpan Beach, it was named the most beautiful beach in the world in 2018. There are no good and proper accommodations over there, I stayed at Mad Monkey hostel, it was clean, they had good food, great partying and entertainment. Which is good because internet don’t work there at all. I was relaxing on the beach, watching sunrises and sunsets and meeting new people, it was lots of fun! Its not Manilla, but go to Vanilla Beach in El nido. Come here to.see the best sunsets in El Nido. Beautiful beach that stretches in front of the islands. Take in the amazibg views while watching the sun ho down. A very ptetty place with lots of people. Enjoy the beach vibes and soak in the environment. Si no haces las excursiones a las pequeñas islas este es un lugar muy recomendable para hospedarse. Existen muchos hoteles estilos resort o cabañas a lo largo de esta playa. El paisaje es alucinante, las arenas blancas y el agua transparente. Se encuentra a 5/10 minutos del centro del Nido en transporte. Y cuenta con un pequeño paseo con negocios y locales para comer o tomar algo. Definitivamente si volviera me quedaría en esta zona de El Nido! 😉

Went to El Nido last Feb 2-4, and the only word I could say after seeing El Nido is wow. If you are a beach lover, you'll definitely enjoy every bit of El Nido. The island hopping packages were affordable costing around 1,200-1,400 for 5 beaches and lunch included. Our tour guides also made sure that we were well accommodated and safe during hopping. If you are in El nido and want to experience snorkeling and perhaps see some turtles, I would recommend doing tour C. Helicopter island had some of the best coral reefs and fish in El nido. Packed lunch was also Provided on the trip and the total cost was 1,200 PHP. The tour was from 09:00 - 16:00. #philippines #elnido #snorkeling
