Animaland at Taipei Zoo
Taipei Zoo is a popular spot when you visit Taiwan. This zoo houses animals from tiny ones to gigantic rhinoceros, elephants, or silverback gorilla, you name it. Of course, the sought-after cute and cuddly ones - capybara and panda are also present. There are a tons of animals which I bet you have never heard of, hence the activity is full of new learnings and a fun one too. The zoo offers free shuttle services in designs of Zebra prints which can carry visitors around the massive zoo (not to mention, its scorching hot during the day, especially in August). Taipei zoo shop should never be missed, it displays plushies of animals present in the zoo, souvenirs and alot more! 7/eleven, Mcdo and other food houses are available as well in case you get tired and hungry from exploring. #voyagevibes #cityscapes
Falling Inlove with Shifen Waterfalls
Shifen has many things to offer, not only the old railway which is by the way is still functional, not just the colorful sky lanterns we'd write our wishes and prayers, there's alot! If you happen to go to Shifen, please do pass by the waterfalls. Glittery water pours down during sun down time, imagine that refraction of dusky yellow light on the water - makes it look even more elegant! The hanging bridge over the Keelung river towards the Shifen waterfall is also magnificent. Everything here is oldie but goldie. #voyagevibes #cityscapes #waterfalls
Feels like Mars but its Yehliu in Taiwan
Yehliu Geopark is a famous tourist spot and a must-visit place in Taiwan. What makes it special? The park brags its rock or geological formations which were made from erosions due to seawater and winds and is still constantly shaped by such factors. Such rocks are soft limestones with iron content of rocks being constantly oxidized thus giving it mustard to burnt orange color - makes you feel you're in a different planet. Also, ivisit the Queen's head, get on queue and have that photo-op. #traveldudes #cityscapes #voyagevibes
Standing skyscapers
Bonifacio Global City or "BGC" is a central hub for business and lifestyle located in the heart of Taguig City. Ultimately, it is a 240 hectare world class district showcasing skyscrapers of condominium, malls, landmarks etc. Speaking of world-class, streets and roads were elevated suitable for a more comfortable transportation with bike-friendly lanes and lush parks with greeneries around. #voyagevibes #cityscapes
Surreal Spirited Away ✨
Jiufen Old Street is well - known for its hundreds or maybe thousands of hanging lanterns. The place mimics the Japanese animated fantasy cartoon film made by Japanese Hayao Miyazaki, or some says old street has been the author/director's inspiration for the film. Within its bustling streets are the numerous street foods and stores (where you can buy different memorabilias. Around the street, you can also see friendly cats and dogs alike. #voyagevibes #traveldiaries #cityscapes

Clarke Quay in Singapore is a photographer’s dream, particularly for capturing the vibrant energy and stunning night views of this iconic riverside development. As night falls, the area comes alive with a kaleidoscope of colorful lights reflecting off the Singapore River, creating a dazzling backdrop for any nighttime photography session.
The historical riverside quay, with its beautifully restored shop houses and modern bars and restaurants, offers a mix of old-world charm and contemporary lifestyle. The contrast between these traditional and modern architectural elements makes Clarke Quay a compelling subject for photographers looking to capture the unique character of Singapore.
For the best photo opportunities, position yourself along the riverbanks where you can frame the bustling activity of the bars and restaurants against the tranquil water. Experience a culturally diverse heritage
Melaka is certainly a very unique place. The local people of Melaka embrace their significant heritage as not only were there Malaysians at the time in history but also Dutch and Portuguese migrants.
The architectural beauty still available today and various foods available is an eye-opening experience. Many of the people that passed on during their settlement in Melaka can still be visited at their tombs in the city grave yard and on the hill. What’s so beautiful about it is that their memory lives on and the area is being maintained to generations to learn from and enjoy!

Brooklyn's Oasis: The Japanese Pond & Garden
In the midst of Brooklyn's urban jungle, I found a tranquil sanctuary that felt worlds away from the city's hustle and bustle: the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. This gem is one of the oldest and most visited Japanese-inspired gardens outside Japan, a testament to the timeless allure of Japanese landscape design.
Combining the ancient hill-and-pond style with the more recent stroll-garden style, this garden is an artful balance of tradition and innovation. The journey through its winding paths revealed a series of carefully orchestrated scenes: the undulating contours of artificial hills around a pond, a waterfall cascading with a gentle roar, and an island standing as an epitome of solitude. The meticulous placement of rocks added to the sense of tranquillity and equilibrium, their silent presence a narrative of Zen philosophy.
The garden's architectural elements further enhanced its authenticity. I crossed over wooden bridges, walked past stone lanterns, and found moments of reprieve in a viewing pavilion and a Shinto shrine. The striking vermilion-coloured wooden torii, a traditional Japanese gate, marked the spiritual significance of the space. As I stood beneath it, the sounds of Brooklyn faded into the distance, and I was momentarily transported to a serene corner of Japan, right here in the heart of New York.

Starlight Stroll: Unveiling SG's Nighttime Charms
As twilight painted the sky, I embarked on a nocturnal exploration of Singapore's bustling city centre. The city, adorned with a tapestry of radiant lights, bloomed like a night flower, offering a sight to behold.
First stop: the iconic Merlion, majestically spouting water against the backdrop of the glimmering skyline, an enduring symbol of Singapore's prosperity. Strolling along Boat Quay, the iridescent reflection of charming colonial buildings on the water's surface enthralled me.
My steps then led me outside CHIJMES, a stunning gothic-style structure, which, under the starlit canopy, felt almost ethereal. The historic complex, with its intricate facades illuminated, narrated a story of architectural grandeur.
Finally, the vibrant, neon-lit strip of Clarke Quay, where the Elgin Bridge was alight with color. The city, now a kaleidoscope of hues, seemed more alive than ever. Truly, the nighttime allure of Singapore is unparalleled.

Philly Footprints: Unraveling the City's Charm
One foot in front of the other, I embarked on a journey through the heart of Philadelphia. My first stop was the Church of the Holy Trinity, an architectural gem with an aura of tranquility that washed over me in calming waves.
I continued on to the rail yard along the Schuylkill River, where the robust industrial past of the city converged with the urban present. The sight of sturdy metal against the flowing river was a fascinating visual paradox.
Following the river's path, I found myself strolling along the Schuylkill River's edge. The gentle murmur of the water complemented the lively city ambiance, creating a soothing soundtrack for my journey.
My day concluded outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art, its majestic façade an inspiring testament to the city's cultural richness. As I gazed upon this iconic structure, I felt deeply connected to the vibrant tapestry of Philly's urban life.

Luxurious stay
When we travel to Bangkok, there is never a lack of luxurious accommodations to choose from. You don’t have to spend a fortune on the big branded 5-star hotels to get a good place to stay. This time for our trip, we decided to go for a cosy but modern apartment that has an awesome city view.
Everything was clean and designed in a contemporary fashion, even the swimming pool was massive and spanned the length of the building. But what was most beautiful was the city skyline view from above, simply breathtaking!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Turqoise infinity pool
Clear blue waters and clear blue skies, what’s there not to love? This swimming pool is designed to be an infinity one all the way up on level 9 of the hotel, so you can see incredible panoramic city views while doing laps in the pool. The best part is that we were staying during the weekdays on our holiday there, so there was practically no one in there, becoming like our own private pool.
There are also jacuzzi jets at both sides if you prefer to just chill. One not so ideal thing is that the water can be a bit cold as there is no direct sunlight.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
