There are many cute Kumamon Ministers on the ground floor and they sell agricultural products or food. Visit Kumamoto Inari Shrine ⛩️ | Kumamoto | Japan 🇯🇵 Kumamoto Inari Shrine is located in the city of Kumamoto, next to Kumamoto Castle. It is a very old Shinto shrine in the city. Since this shrine was built in 1496, it was built to protect Kumamoto Castle from all evil and is located in the southeast of the castle. When walking into the shrine, you will see torii gates lined up along the stairs that will lead to another worship point, which is very impressive (I didn't dare take a picture in the shrine 😱). Although this shrine is small, it is full of charm and interesting things. (There is a glass ball, just like in the movies, everyone 🤭) You can take the tram from Kumamoto Station, Line A, and get off at stop No.10. You can pay for the tram like a bus. Coconut trees and romantic observatory at Miyazaki Airport🌲 Reluctantly leaving Obi Castle Town, I took a bus back to the hotel in Miyazaki city to pick up my luggage, and then took the JR out of Miyazaki Airport to take a domestic flight to Tokyo. Miyazaki Airport is about 30 minutes from the city. There are currently no direct flights between Hong Kong and Miyazaki, so I’m glad I had the opportunity to explore Miyazaki Airport this time, because Miyazaki Airport itself is a very attractive attraction! It turns out that the rules for taking domestic flights in Japan are very relaxed. Liquids can be brought on board, and there is no strict inspection of personal luggage, let alone arriving at the airport early to check in😂 Maybe just 1 hour in advance is enough😅 This two-day and two-night trip to Miyazaki was absolutely perfect. The weather was very good on both days, and on the return journey, the sunset and the fiery red sky even saw us off. As soon as I arrived at the airport, I saw a lot of Miyazaki dog stickers, and the shapes were different from those seen in the city. Mr. Palm Tree from Pokémon also stands at the airport, which fits in well with the image of Miyazaki covered with palm trees. There are still souvenir shops and a few restaurants in the airport. The observation deck on the top floor is very romantic. Miyazaki Dog and Kumamon Bear’s friends were very satisfied with this trip back to Miyazaki and hope to visit again in the near future. Qingdao's natural ecological rock "Ghost's Washboard" and Qingdao Shrine ⛩️ When you come to Qingdao, the third stop of Miyazaki Three Views, you also take a bus. However, on the return trip to Miyazaki Station, you can directly take JR or bus, depending on the time after the tour. When traveling from Qingdao Station to Qingdao, across a bridge, you will pass three major landscapes along the way: 1. Yellow mailbox. Mangoes are abundant in June, so they will be available in large quantities. Among them, the most advanced "Taiyo Mango", which means "son of the sun", has a sweetness of more than 15 degrees. Thank you Miyazaki people for your help😊 The first stop was Udo Jingu Shrine. While sightseeing in Kagoshima, two tourists from Hong Kong shared that due to the rainy season in July, buses were unable to reach Udo Jingu Shrine directly, and they had to take a detour and walk to visit. I confirmed with the staff at Miyazaki Station again and finally decided to go there anyway, but the bus stop was far away and required about half an hour's walk. The rainy season has just ended in Miyazaki in July, and the temperature is still bearable! Udo Jingu Shrine is a shrine under a cave dedicated to the rabbit god. It is said that stroking the rabbit statue will make your wish come true and it is also a place for a safe birth and a happy marriage. The three children of Miyazaki Dog, Kumamon and Northeast Penguin were all very happy to come to the shrine to make a wish and get spiritual energy. This journey involves taking the Shinkansen from Hakata Station to Kumamoto City to savor the tonkatsu at Katsuretsu Tei Shinshigai, a popular spot among food enthusiasts. Due to its popularity, there is usually a queue, but the restaurant manages it very well, so the wait time is short. The tonkatsu here comes in both pork and beef varieties, served with perfectly cooked rice, fragrant soup, and a variety of side dishes that can be refilled. We ordered the pork tonkatsu, which was excellently fried—crispy, tender, and not greasy at all. Visiting the Luffy statue in front of the Kumamoto Prefectural Office was a super fun adventure! Standing proudly with his iconic straw hat and wide grin, Luffy looked ready for an adventure. It was awesome to see the beloved One Piece character right there in real life! The setting was perfect, surrounded by a beautiful, open space with greenery and flowers. Hello~ I'm back with my one day plan in Kumamoto, where I went to last month. And some tips to travel in Japan during summer! 7:00 AM - Arrive at Kumamoto Station - I took the first Shinkansen train from Hataka Station and arrived at Kumamoto Station at 7:00 AM. - You must have Kyushu Pass first but seat reservation is not a must. You can go non-reserve train and find a seat there~ I personally reserved seat and there were only 4 people in my train. - There are lots of coin lockers to deposit your belongings. But if your hotel provides some space to deposit your luggages, this helps you save the costs a lot! 9:00 AM - Kumamon Port Yatsushiro - Loads of cute Kumamons are here. There're some small shops for you to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs. - Parking Lots and toilets are available. - If you want to go to this place, I recommend to rent a car! - I took a taxi from Yatsushiro Station (Approx. ¥3,000). And when I arrived, the taxi driver told me that there is no any taxi or bus here. I had to walk around 2km to take the Airport Limousine Bus back to Shin-Yatsushiro Station. It's fine for me but not in summer in Japan. 12:00 PM - Kumamoto Castle Area - Take Tram A Line from Kumamoto Station to Habatacho Station and walk around 400m. I recommend to buy one day ticket. - Sakura-no-baba Josaien - Kumamoto Castle + Musuem (¥800/¥850) 3:30 PM - Suizenji Park - Take Tran A Line from Torichosuji Station to Suizenji Park Station and walk 250m. - ¥400 5:30 PM - Shimotori Shopping Arcade - Take Tram A Line from Suizenji Park Station to Torichosuji Station - Have a dinner at Kumamoto Food Stall Village. - I recommend Izakaya restaurant and local drinks only ¥100 per cup. - Enjoy your time shopping here. I personally walked around and took Purikura as a local. 9:00 PM - Back to Hotel - I booked hotel for a night because I would like to visit Aso Mount on the next day. On the day we went, there was a rare samurai show. There were staff to recommend spots on each floor. On the top floor of the castle, we could see the city view of Kumamoto City. Plus, there was a river flowing around the castle. It's also close to another landmark of the city. The weather is nice, walk quickly, let's go! When we went, there were some parts of the castle that were not open for visitors yet because there were parts of the castle that were still under repair from the earthquake. 3 days tourist in Kumamoto 🏯🇯🇵✨⛰️ Sharing to you my experience visiting The Iconic Kumamoto Castle, great 400 year history of this place 🤩 As of 08-16-23 , some parts of the areas in the castle is still on renovation because of the 2016 earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 that sustained heavy damages. Too many active volcanoes around Kumamoto like the largest active one Mt.Aso , reason why earthquake is often 4x in a month. If anyone has a plan to travel to Japan by flying to FUKUOKA, I recommend finding time to visit the city of Kumamon the bear and the birthplace of the famous cartoon ONE PIECE, which is KUMAMOTO. How to get there - Take the KYUSHU Shinkansen from HAKATA Station to KUMAMOTO Station, only 38 minutes, very fast. Once you reach KUMAMOTO, we will travel by tram to various places. Tourist attractions - Kumamoto Castle, even though it is under repair from the earthquake, we can still feel the specialness that makes this castle never be destroyed by humans. However, it was destroyed by natural disasters. Restaurant area - Sakura no Baba Josaien is near the castle. The shop is decorated to match Kumamoto Castle. There are many things to choose from. Shopping - We came back to buy things at Kumamoto Station. Almost everything has a Kumamon bear symbol to take back as a souvenir. This is obviously the best castle in Japan. The castle tower is so huge that even all of Japanese are amazed by the size. Due to the terrible earthquake, the castle tower was destroyed in 2016, and it reopened several years ago. Although it is still under restoration, the view of the castle and cherry blossoms are so beautiful. To get there, you must go to Kumamoto City, which is about 90 minutes from Tokyo by airplane. The. Famous black bear 🐻 mascot Kumamoto.. . Most of the tourist come here as a transit point for my aso. But there a lot of thing to do in the city itself .. famous for horse sashimi.. dare. Not to try . The famous one piece author home town is from here also .. and he donated alot for the earthquake rebuild . So there many one piece statue all around the state .. total 10 of time . After 6 hour of flight 1 hour one trek. Finally arrive at Kumamoto check in at crown plaza new sky . Is about 10min walk from the train station . Was upgraded to a premium floor with nice view . Room size a bit the small but is normal in japan .. check in time was 3pm but was allow to check in at 11 since the room is ready .. ok prepare to venture out first is to find food 。 #japan #crownplaza #kumamoto

If you are driving around Kyushu in Japan, and considering to go between Nagasaki and Kumamoto, the car ferry is one of the options. There are 6-7 ferries daily traveling between the two ports. We took the 9:40 and it is best to arrive 30 minutes before departure. Once you arrive at the terminal gate, the guard will direct you to park your car in line. you will then need to get your ticket from the main building. The Kyushu ferry ticket counter is on the left side. even if you don’t speak Japanese, you can just say Kumamoto, indicate how many persons in total ( as the basic car ticket is ¥2730 including the driver). Additional passenger will cost ¥890. Inside the terminal building, there is also a gift shop and coffee shop. Boarding starts about 10 min prior to departure. traveling time is about 60 minutes. After parking your car on the ferry, you can then go up to the second level where there are both indoor and outdoor seatings. There are plenty of seats . I find this to be a convenient way to travel if this is the route in your itinerary. However much of the road between Nagasaki and Shimbara is local road with lots of traffic lights and speed limit is 50 per km. it could also get quite congested in the afternoon, so best to plan your route and time. #urbanexplorer #drivinginjapan #Nagasaki #Kumamoto

For two consecutive days, we went to the Kumamoto Prefecture Products Exhibition at 4 Aeon branches to introduce Kumamoto’s specialties to our Hong Kong fans! This time, the three idiots went to the Huangpu branch early in the morning to support Minister Zhen, and they really wanted to share the joy with everyone🥰In fact, the original purpose of this IG was to take the three idiots to eat, drink and have fun, so it was an activity to find the original intention🥺 When I saw Minister Kuma interacting with us and being willing to take photos with fans, I immediately felt that I had no regrets.
