The Windy City 💨
The origins of Chicago’s famous nickname are not entirely clear. The most obvious explanation is that it comes from the frigid breezes that blow off Lake Michigan and sweep through the city’s streets. However, another popular theory holds that it was coined in reference to Chicago’s bloviating residents and politicians, who were deemed to be “full of hot air.”

Captivating
You can't miss it when you're in town. Especially if you are going to be visiting the millennium park. This is such a unique structure and draws visitors all throughout the day and night. It's a fascinating moment to see the city's skyline reflected on it.
I have visited it several times and at odd hours too. Night is when it looks the prettiest. And best part you'll find less crowds after 11 pm. The parking can be a pain if you are driving here. Perhaps the millenium park car parking is your best bet. This structure is not to be missed!

Impressive
Certainly not an everyday place with the kind of pricing they have. But on a recent trip to Chicago i finally managed to come here with two friends. For a weekday night too the place filled up pretty quickly. I had the pleasure of trying some.of their recommendations and I was thoroughly impressed!
Although I have to say that with common and everyday ingredients the high price cannot be justified. The salad was incredible, with so many toppings and wonderful flavors that made each bite a delight. We tried the chicken skewers too and they were tender and flavorful. The drinks were refreshing and perfectly complemented the meal.
The desserts were spot on. Extremely satisfying and a perfect ending to a great dining experience. The service was warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you are in Chicago and say there is a special occasion, you don't mind splurging on food, this could be tried!

A decent option in chicago
I had a night of stay at the trump international hotel. It was a comfortable stay with no major discomforts or extremely incredible service. Things were to the point.
The staff extremely deligent and prompt. The crowd was mostly business. The spa was incredible but premium priced. Gym facilities very good for a thorough workout. Some great views and hung out at the bar as well for a round of sundowners before heading out.

Staying grounded in the Windy City - Chicago
A spontaneous visit to Chicago during Thanksgiving ended up being a memorable experience.
The architecture in Chicago is just one of the best in the world.
The buildings and architecture of Chicago reflect the city's history and multicultural heritage, featuring prominent buildings in a variety of styles. Most structures downtown were destroyed by the Great Chicago Fire in 1871.
Chicago's architectural styles include Chicago Bungalows, Two-Flats, and Graystones along Logan Boulevard and Lawndale Avenue. The Loop is home to skyscrapers as well as sacred architecture including "Polish Cathedrals". Chicago is home to one of the largest and most diverse collections of skyscrapers in the world.
Should we talk about Pizza? Chicago’s dip dish pizza is a must try when in town. There are several places where you can try it but my recommendation will be Giordano’s.
Dont forget to visit the parks, museums, the lake and of course, the Observation deck at the Willis Tower.
My #2024wish is to travel to the wonderful paradise of Papua New Guinea.

Chicago’s Urban Jungle
Chicago is one of my favorite US cities. It is a well planned city. I highly recommend strolling around the city and just be amazed by its urban architecture. Chicago has some of the most beautiful buildings in America. For me, I prefer staying around Magnificent Mile, which is a stone throw away Chicago River. Like other tourists, don’t miss visiting The Bean (Cloud Gate).#chicago #america #Chicagotrip

The city of wind - Chicago
Chicago is famous for its stunning architecture, iconic skyline and the coastline of Michigan Lake. Here are some of our favorite spots across the city to take gorgeous pictures:
1. Observe the city from the Skydeck at Willis Tower
The Willis Tower is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. The Skydeck, located on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower, offers both stunning and heart-pounding views. You can choose to stand out on the Ledge’s glass box, 1,353 feet in the air—if you dare. This is a great opportunity for a photo op, especially because of the jaw-dropping views located right beneath your feet.
2.Explore the Chicago Riverwalk
On any day in the city, you’ll find many people leisurely strolling down the Chicago Riverwalk. This 1.25-mile-long pathway extends from Lake Shore Drive to Lake Street in Downtown Chicago. During the early fall, you’ll be able to see flowers and greenery lining parts of the path, as well as open restaurant patios. You can also enjoy looking at spectacular sights of some of the city’s best architecture.
3.Millennium Park.
A favorite gathering spot in the heart of downtown, the expansive lakefront green space is carved out between the lake and skyscrapers. It’s alive with activities and concerts and is a remarkable outdoor gallery for Chicago’s public art collection. The reflection of the blue sky and skyline against the stainless steel elliptical Cloud Gate, aka the Bean is really cool. Some of the best views of the Park are from the restaurant or Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago, one of the finest and largest museums of art in the U.S.

Food Adventure in Chicago
If you are looking a fun city with great food, Chicago, Illinois, USA is a great place to go.
The city is not as busy as the New York City. It's still busy but with fun twist. There are variety of food, even Halal food that you can try.
I'll start with the Chicago style deep dish pizza. Pizza in Chicago is cookes in deep pan, and the filling is very thick. Definitely a muat try.
There are multiple chocolate shops, like Hershey's, Ghirardelli, and Lavazza. I'm most enjoyed the thick hot chocolate drink from Lavazza Cafe. Not to forget the canolli and nutella crepe.
After the food hunt, you can enjoy the magnificent sunset view of Chicago from the Willis Tower.

Union Station, Chicago
Union Station, Chicago is one of the most beautiful station I have seen. It’s located in downtown Chicago. Built in 1881, it was rebuilt in 1925. it’s fourth busiest railway station in USA. It was designed by famous Architects. It has platforms and a waiting hall which is grand and so beautiful. It has two statues by Henry Hering —Night and Day — look down on passengers, symbolizing the 24-hour operation of the railroads. The statue Night holds an owl, while Day holds a rooster. Construction was delayed several times by World War I, labor shortages and strikes. The construction of the station also involved the demolition and relocation of some previously existing buildings such as the Butler Brothers Warehouse along the Chicago River #chicago #union #railway #columbus #usa

Chicago, Illinois
Surprisingly a great city for a walker. I’d go to Cloud Gate early and beat the people for some photos. From there you can go to Navy Pier, when I was there people started arriving at almost exactly 10am but so did heavy fog. Everything was closed too but if you are looking to enjoy your self without people that’s the time to do it. The river walk was lovely too! Any time seems to be ok it wasn’t too crowded and if you are taking pictures the people probably aren’t where you are looking then. If you haven’t been to a big city before, like me at the time, the city will probably be intimidating but once you start to recognize things you will be good. Us a land mark to mark an important place like the subway so you can find it and know how to get home #chicago #illinois #walk

Welcome to Chicago!
Overview of this magnificent city:
“Chicago is located in the Midwest along the Great Lakes shoreline. It is the third largest city and metropolitan area in the United States with a city population approaching 3 million and a metro population approaching 10 million. Chicago is a huge vibrant city and metropolitan area that sprawls over 10,874km². ”
During my lovely time in Chicago, here’s what I did:
Millenium Park, The Bean, The Loop, Architecture cruise (100% worth it), ghosts tour (Chicago is known for its many ghost stories). I also checked out The Green Mill (Al Capone’s old hangout bar). I was mostly walking around enjoying Chicago’s beauty!
Restaurants- I found some nice pubs near the river but my favorite was by far Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza!! There was a long wait but it was well worth it in my opinion.
Have a blast in Chicago!

So, this cruise tour had affordable price with advanced booking and was around 40 minutes long. And, the most awesome thing about this is, actually, the pictures! The pictures we took were so classy. I would recommend wearing a nice outfit for this tour coz you can get some nice profile pictures.
As for snacks, I would recommend getting it from outside, as cruise only had limited and expensive options.
