#Travel itinerary I visited Yeliu & Jiufen on the outskirts of Taipei First of all, Yeliu is said to have been eroded by the sea tide~~ But I went in December and it was so hot!! This was my second trip to Taiwan, so I wanted to visit a nearby city that I hadn't been to. I tried it because there were many reviews saying that the Taroko Gorge in Hualien was beautiful. I didn't want to take the bus tour that was crowded with Chinese people, so I took the train to Hualien and then went on a private taxi tour. I had a train ticket when I went from Taipei to Hualien, so I went comfortably. I was planning to stay one night and come back, so I packed my luggage for one night in my backpack and left. After arriving, I looked around the market and had dinner, and the next day, the taxi driver came to my accommodation and started the private tour~~ It was a 4-hour tour, and it was nice that I could choose the spots I wanted to go to. However, the driver didn't speak English and only spoke Chinese, so there was some communication difficulty, but I managed to communicate using a translator. Even while moving between Taroko Gorge spots, I couldn't help but admire the beautiful scenery. Taiwan is also known for its whiskey. Among them, Kavalan by King Car Group is famous for winning first place in world competitions and is well-known among Koreans for its great taste and value. I took a bus from Taipei to Yilan to visit the whiskey distillery. There are tours available (free of charge) that show how the whiskey is distilled and made. I highly recommend visiting! I'll introduce you to Danshui, a great place to travel near Taipei, Taiwan. Danshui is a port city with a beautiful sunset, and is famous for being the setting of the movie "Secret that Cannot Be Told". It takes about an hour from downtown Taipei to Danshui, so it's a great place for a half-day trip. 🚇There are two ways to get from Taipei Main Station to Danshui Station: taxi, Uber, or subway. - MTR Subway Take the MRT RED Line from Taipei Main Station to Danshui Station without transferring, and it takes about 45-50 minutes. *When taking the MTR RED Line to Danshui, there are two lines, beitou and Tamsui, so I recommend checking before boarding. - Taxi, Uber Taxi or Uber takes about 30 minutes. The price is about 20,000 won. 📍Danshui is a great place to travel for a half-day. It takes about 4 hours to take the Danshui River, Hongmaicheng, and Xiaobai Palace course. - Hongmi-cheng This is a building built in the architectural style of the Netherlands and the UK with over 300 years of history. It was used as a consulate by the British government. This is the filming location for the movie Secret Piano Competition. - Jinli University Jinli University is located right next to Hongmi-cheng. Yehliu Geopark is a tourist attraction full of strangely shaped rocks and it was a unique and exotic tourist attraction In Shifen, we flew wish lanterns, which is a must, and ate the most delicious chicken wing fried riceㅎ Shifen Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Taiwan and was a cool place in the hot Taiwanese weather😉 The last Jiufen was a place I really wanted to go, but the guide said we were lucky and that there weren't many tourists on that day! There were a lot of people, but it was nice to be able to look around more leisurely than usual. The atmosphere is so pretty when the lights come on at nightㅎ I walked along the rainy Taipei streets, went into a tea house, and drank Taiwanese tea. From the top of Xiangshan, you can get a direct view of Taipei 101, the landmark of Taipei. While the view from the Taipei 101 Observatory is spectacular, the scenery of Taiwan from Xiangshan is also grand and impressive. Since it's a hike, those visiting to see the night view should be cautious and ensure their safety.

During a trip to Taiwan, the Yesji, Yesjingi, and Yespokji tours are popular and cost-effective day tours. You can take a bus for a day and choose to visit places like Yehliu, Shifen, Shifen Waterfall, Jinguashi, and Jiufen according to your preferences and make a reservation.
