Fongda Coffee is said to be the oldest cafe in Ximending, having started in 1956 and has been around for 70 years. This is a cafe that is completely loved by locals. There is also a brunch set in the morning, so there are many people from early in the morning. Fongda Coffee is located a 5-minute walk from Ximending Station, across from the famous milk donut restaurant Krispy Milk Donut. The operating hours are 08:00-22:00 every day, a simple breakfast set 08:00-11:00. They sell toast and coffee. There is a 60-minute limit to the cafe usage time, and outside food is prohibited. They also sell traditional Taiwanese snacks. They are sold in boxes or individually. Cookies can only be ordered here, so you can eat them inside the cafe after pre-ordering and paying. The best cookie menu here is 合桃酥 (Korean Sabre cookie flavor), 雞仔餅 (sweet and salty), 鮑魚酥 (abalone-shaped cookie). As expected from a coffee shop, they sell coffee beans from various regions. They have a variety of beans from Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Cuba, and more, as well as blended coffee and iced coffee. Yehliu Geopark is a tourist attraction full of strangely shaped rocks and it was a unique and exotic tourist attraction In Shifen, we flew wish lanterns, which is a must, and ate the most delicious chicken wing fried riceㅎ Shifen Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Taiwan and was a cool place in the hot Taiwanese weather😉 The last Jiufen was a place I really wanted to go, but the guide said we were lucky and that there weren't many tourists on that day! There were a lot of people, but it was nice to be able to look around more leisurely than usual. The atmosphere is so pretty when the lights come on at nightㅎ I walked along the rainy Taipei streets, went into a tea house, and drank Taiwanese tea. I traveled alone, but it was a very happy Taiwan trip If you travel to Taiwan, be sure to eat one mango shaved ice a day!

Places to visit near Taiwan Wulai Village, famous for its hot springs💕 It's an attractive village to visit just for hot springs I recommend taking the mini train up to see Wulai Falls! You can walk up, but personally If the weather is bad, I'd recommend taking a round trip! The most famous natural attraction in Taiwan! This is the Taroko Gorge located in Hualien, Taiwan! Many people visit this place as part of a tour. You can walk along the marble cliffs and enjoy the beautiful scenery! There are both short and long hiking trails available, allowing you to trek and enjoy the stunning views of the gorge. It was truly wonderful. If you visit Taiwan, I highly recommend taking a tour of Taroko Gorge in Hualien, near Taipei.

From the top of Xiangshan, you can get a direct view of Taipei 101, the landmark of Taipei. While the view from the Taipei 101 Observatory is spectacular, the scenery of Taiwan from Xiangshan is also grand and impressive. Since it's a hike, those visiting to see the night view should be cautious and ensure their safety.

During a trip to Taiwan, the Yesji, Yesjingi, and Yespokji tours are popular and cost-effective day tours. You can take a bus for a day and choose to visit places like Yehliu, Shifen, Shifen Waterfall, Jinguashi, and Jiufen according to your preferences and make a reservation. Both the mango jelly and lychee jelly are not too sweet, making them a good choice for a post-meal treat. Each piece is individually wrapped, which is nice. The size is not small, and it comes with a separate spoon. 2️⃣ Misty Nougat Crackers Jiufen Branch (米詩堤甜點王國) There are two types of boxes: small and large. The large box contains 25 nougat crackers, while the small box contains 15. 3️⃣ Xing Fu Tang Jiufen Xing Fu Tang is a famous bubble tea shop in Taiwan. Fortunately, there is a Xing Fu Tang at the entrance of Jiufen, so I tried a cup. Normally, it costs 100 TWD, but in Jiufen, it's a bit cheaper at 90 TWD.

In Taiwan, red talismans symbolize good fortune, so while the atmosphere might seem a bit eerie, there's no need to worry. The waterfall's strong flow creates a refreshing coolness that can be felt even from a distance. I joined a one-day tour of Yehliu, Shifen, Shifen Waterfall, Jinguashi, and Jiufen. You can choose your preferred destinations from these five spots.

It's conveniently located just a minute's walk from Wulai Old Street. Despite being surrounded by rivers and trees, there were no bugs in the room. Highly recommended!
