Perfect sunset spot in Langkawi 🏖️
Stumbled across this restaurant bar and honestly Hidden Langkawi quickly became one of my favorite spots! Nestled right by the beach, the vibe is perfect for relaxing with a glass of cocktail in my hand as the sun sets. The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails hit the spot. I loved how the place had such a lively yet chill atmosphere—definitely a place I’ll be returning to whenever I’m in Langkawi!

🇲🇾 Bamboo Cenang 📍Cenang Beach, Langkawi
We had a wonderful dinner by Cenang Beach on Langkawi Island at Bamboo Cenang. The restaurant is well-known for its welcoming atmosphere and diverse menu, with a focus on seafood and local cuisine. We ordered grilled stingray along with other local dishes, all at very affordable prices. The seating area provided a pleasant view of Cenang Beach, enhancing the dining experience. Ritz Carlton Langkawi, A Weekend Escape in Nature
Ritz Carlton Langkawi is where nature embraces guests at every corner. Nestled between the lush rainforest and pristine beach, this resort offers the perfect balance of privacy and tranquility.
The hotel’s exceptional service stands out, with timely buggy rides and a personalized touch, like borrowing art books from their small library, thoughtfully curated with travel and art-inspired reads.
The architecture of beach view villa is an extension of its environment, greenery and ocean views are framed beautifully in every direction. A personal highlight was a charming tea room with a table I plan to replicate in my own home, inspired by its harmony with nature.
Thoughtful commitment to sustainability adds another layer to its charm, with eco friendly wooden furnitures seamlessly integrated into resort’s architecture. I would gladly return for a staycation combines relaxation and serenity.

The best views of Langkawi
Langkawi Sky Bridgeand was such an lovely experience. The cable car ride takes you up Gunung Mat Cincang, offering breathtaking views of the island and the Andaman Sea. The Sky Bridge at the top is an absolute highlight—walking on that curved bridge with panoramic views felt awesome.
The ride itself was smooth, tho it got a bit windy and chilly up top, so bring a light jacket. The lines can be long, especially during peak hours, so it’s best to go early in the day.
Overall, the whole experience was definitely worth it. The views are unmatched, and the Sky Bridge adds an extra thrill. This is definitely a must do while at Langkawi island.

Langkawi a picturesque tropical paradise
#internationaltravel
Langkawi is an absolute gem of Malaysia truly Asia. The beautiful turquoise waters, lush green vegetation and rich in fauna make this place so stunning. Had the best way of enjoying and exploring Langkawi through island hopping which can be done in one day. While on the island hopping trip we got the chance to fish for our lunch, fed some eagles and natural catfish spa haha. A trip that was truly worthwhile.

🇲🇾 A berry fantastic voyage to Parkroyal Langkawi Resort
Come with me on a berry fantastic voyage to Parkroyal Langkawi Resort. I flew into Langkawi specially to visit this newly opened hotel and it was super fantastic. I have already planned another Langkawi visit in my 2025 trips. There are many types of rooms and suites here at this beachfront resort and the prices are really affordable since I “kope” the deals on Trip.com. I paid for a deluxe suite for about $400 ish and then got upgraded.

🇲🇾 Exploring the Enchanting Island of Langkawi, Malaysia
#islandtour #100waysoftravel
Langkawi, Malaysia, is a stunning archipelago known for its lush landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant cultural experiences. On my recent tour of this tropical paradise, I discovered a blend of adventure, relaxation, and culinary delights that truly showcased the best of Langkawi.
The adventure began with some exhilarating water sports off the coast of one of Langkawi’s pristine beaches. From jet skiing across the gleaming waters to parasailing high above the island, each activity offered a thrilling perspective of Langkawi’s natural beauty.
One of the highlights of my trip was the sunset cruise. As the yacht sailed along the coastline, the sky turned into a canvas of deep oranges and pinks, creating a breathtaking backdrop against the tranquil sea. The cruise was not only a visual delight but also a chance to unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere.
No visit to Langkawi would be complete without savoring its local seafood. The island’s restaurants, many situated right on the beach, served fresh, flavorful seafood dishes that were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Another must-visit attraction was the 3D museum, an interactive art space where I snapped amusing photos with lifelike paintings and optical illusions. The experience was both fun and immersive, adding a unique cultural twist to the trip.
Finally, a journey to the Sky Bridge offered a panoramic view of Langkawi’s verdant hills and sparkling waters. This architectural marvel, suspended high above the island, provided a spectacular vantage point and was a fitting finale to my island adventure.
Langkawi truly is a gem of Malaysia, offering everything from high-octane adventures and natural beauty to delightful culinary experiences and cultural richness. It’s an ideal destination for anyone looking to explore the diversity and charm of Southeast Asia.

Seven Wells Waterfalls, Langkawi
Also known as Seven Wells Waterfall, Telaga Tujuh has the best views and natural pools are so worth it.
The climb is very very steep and we had to climb backwards because it was almost impossible to climb straight 🤪 and then there were 600+ stairs 😮💨
If you want to save yourself from all the climbing, you can visit the waterfall and have a nice swim in the "infinity pool" there.
But as the name suggests, there are around seven main pools or even more.
We went ahead and crossed 2 other pools, trekked through the jungle for an hour to reach this place, which had clean and chill natural water.
The fact that we had the pool all to ourselves and we got enough time to settle in and play around, was the highlight 😍

#hotsprings #100waysoftravel #malaysia
My visit to Ayer Hangat Village in Langkawi was a refreshing escape into nature. Known for its mineral-rich hot springs, the village offered a perfect blend of relaxation and cultural experience.

Sunset Magic in Langkawi: A Perfect Escape at Berjaya Resort and Beyond
#bestsunset #malaysia #langkawi
Langkawi Island, off the northwest coast of Malaysia, is a haven for those in search of unforgettable sunsets. With its pristine beaches, lush rainforests, and calm blue waters, it’s the ideal destination to relax and take in some of nature’s finest moments. One of the best places to witness the sunset is from the Berjaya Langkawi Resort, a luxurious retreat nestled in Burau Bay, offering stunning views right from its private beach.
Berjaya Langkawi Resort is known for its unique chalets, many of which are perched on stilts over the Andaman Sea, blending luxury with nature. With a private beach exclusive to guests, it’s one of the most serene spots to soak in the golden hues of a Langkawi sunset. As the sun begins its descent, the sky comes alive with brilliant shades of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting off the calm sea. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic evening, or simply for taking a quiet moment to appreciate the beauty of this tropical paradise.
Getting to Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur is easy and convenient. Direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) to Langkawi International Airport (LGK) take just over an hour, with several airlines offering multiple flights daily. Once you arrive, it’s a scenic 30-minute drive from the airport to Berjaya Langkawi Resort, with taxis and car rentals readily available.
While Berjaya offers an incredible sunset experience from its beach, the island has more to offer for sunset lovers. One of the top activities is a sunset cruise, a popular option for those looking to experience the colors of the sky from the water. These cruises typically begin around 5:00 PM and last for two to three hours. Priced around RM250-300 per person, the cruise includes a leisurely sail around Langkawi’s coastline, often accompanied by a barbecue dinner and drinks.
On the sunset cruise, you’ll be able to watch the sky gradually change as the sun sinks lower, casting a golden glow over the water. The cruise offers a panoramic view of the horizon, giving you an uninterrupted view of the sun’s final moments for the day. It’s a perfect way to unwind, with the gentle breeze and the sound of the waves as your backdrop.
One of the most memorable moments from my trip was capturing the sunset from the sky. As our plane descended into Langkawi, I had a rare opportunity to witness the sun setting above the clouds. The brilliant colors painted the sky in breathtaking shades, a once-in-a-lifetime sight that made my arrival on the island even more special.
In summary, Langkawi is the perfect destination for those in search of a stunning sunset experience. Whether you’re enjoying it from the private beach at Berjaya Langkawi Resort or out on a sunset cruise, the views here will leave you mesmerized. This island offers an escape from the everyday, where time seems to slow down, and each sunset feels like a masterpiece designed just for you.

📍 Sightseeing:
While Langkawi is known for its stunning beaches, we decided to explore its natural wonders beyond the shoreline. Our journey took us to the picturesque Padi Field, where vast green stretches of rice paddies offer a serene view of rural Langkawi. Next, we headed to the fascinating Pasir Tengkorak Cross-bedding Geosite, a unique rock formation that tells the island’s geological story. Finally, we immersed ourselves in the refreshing beauty of Temuran Waterfalls, where the sound of cascading water and the cool atmosphere made it a perfect nature retreat.
🚇 Transportation:
We chose to rent a car and go for self-driving, which allowed us the flexibility to explore Langkawi at our own pace. The roads are easy to navigate, and driving through the island’s lush landscapes made the trip even more enjoyable.
📷 Photo Spots:
For stunning shots, the Padi Field provides an incredible backdrop of golden hues at sunset. The dramatic rock formations at Pasir Tengkorak are a photographer’s dream, and the serene surroundings of Temuran Waterfalls offer perfect moments to capture the beauty of nature.
🍜 Local Cuisine:
After a day of nature exploration, we indulged in a feast at a local seafood restaurant. Langkawi’s seafood is fresh and flavorful, and we couldn’t resist trying the grilled fish and spicy prawns—authentic dishes that showcase the island’s culinary richness.
💡 Tips:
• Renting a car is the best way to get around and explore Langkawi’s less-visited nature spots.
• Bring swimwear and a towel if you want to cool off at Temuran Waterfalls.
• For a quieter beach experience, head to Pasir Tengkorak, which is less crowded than the main beaches but equally stunning.
🇲🇾 Sunset in Langkawi
#bestsunset #100WaysOfTravel
This is the Tengah and Cenang beach area and they always have the most beautiful sunsets. It get lovelier especially after some rain and you can even spot rainbow too. Both beaches are public and anyone can come over. There are several hotels along the beach and guests also can walk onto the beach. There is no private beach here so it is open to everyone. It is a quiet and relax beach and there are many beach vendors and beach cafes too. As this beach is facing the western side, the sunset impact is more vibrant. Please always check the sunset timing and the weather as these factors will make or break a lovely sunset view

Langkawi SkyCab
Langkawi SkyCab, even if you purchase tickets online in advance, you still need to exchange them at the counter. First, you will take the cable car to the Eagle's Nest Skywalk, which has a transparent floor. The next stop is the Sky Bridge. After getting off the cable car, you can choose to walk for about 10 minutes or take the SkyGlide to the Sky Bridge. If you arrive around noon on a weekday in July, the wait for the SkyGlide is about 30-40 minutes. Walking is faster, so it is recommended not to buy the SkyGlide ticket in advance. You can evaluate the crowd on-site to decide whether to purchase it.
Price: Purchasing online for the standard cabin, non-express pass, Eagle's Nest Skywalk, Sky Bridge, and SkyGlide is about $1000 per person.
🇲🇾 Super affordable watersport in Langkawi
#watersports #100WaysOfTravel
Langkawi is a great place for water sports and their prices are affordable and it is not crowded on the beach too. You can play parasailing, jetski and many more other types of water sports. The most popular activity is parasailing and their parasailing is slightly different from Thailand. In Langkawi, you will board the boat and take off and landing on the boat. There will be a trainer with you on the same parasailing to guide you in the air. The total time spent in the air will be about 5 minutes. In Langkawi air space at Pantai Tengah and Pantai Cenang, there are always aeroplanes taking off and landing so you can be very close to the aeroplanes while sailing in the air.

At every Shangri-la hotels, they always have a very nice swimming pool. For example, at Shangri-la KL, they have a nice circular pool with many sun bathing area. The children section is not as big but still good enough for probably 10 children in the sheltered pool. As always, Shangri-la hotel always have lifeguard on duty to ensure safety.
