Walking down the famous Metasequoia Lane felt magical, as if stepping into a postcard. There’s also plenty to do, from renting bikes to exploring artistic installations and cozy cafes offering local delicacies. Despite being a popular tourist spot, I found it serene, particularly since I visited on a Friday morning to avoid the weekend rush. Nami Island is an amazing place to explore. The pictures were taken during October, but we were early to see the true colors of fall. Nonetheless it was still a wonderful sight to see. There was a lot of scenery to see and great spots to take photos. The food was also great and there were quite a bit of options to choose from. My favorite was the Seafood Pancake. Visited Nami Island, Garden of the morning calm and Rail bike ! Super pretty and fun !! You can’t miss out the rail bike omg, the ride is quite long, and you’re able to get splendid view ! The garden of the morning calm is extremely pretty as well you can take bunch of pictures there. My favorite place to visit is Nami Island. I make sure to visit there every season to have some photoshoot with my clients. To go to Nami Island, you have to take the subway from Sangbong Station and ride 54 minutes and get off at Gapyeong Station. From there, take the regular bus or mu suggestion is you take the taxi. Much convinience and the fare is cheap. Taxi drop you off at the Nami whaft and you have to ride the ferry. So many attractions in and around Nami Island. I would like to spend the whole day here in autumn season just for photoshoot only. During winter, there is winter festival here and they made up some snow sledding experience. If you want to stay here for a night, there are so many hotel in Nami Island. The place is nice. There is also halal restaurant in Nami Island for muslims and also alot of other eatery around Nami Island. Dont forget to try hotteok and ice cream here. Very nice! A must visit place in Korea!! Located near Seoul, Nami Island is a beautiful island that is among the most popular attractions in Korea. Some people may ask: What is the best time to visit to this place? To be honest, there is no best time as every season offers different beautiful scenery but Autumn is just my thing with the vibrant colour of landscaped trees and maple leaves around ♥️♥️😄 🍁Transportation: (personally I chose ITX but there are other options as well) - From Cheongnyangni Station, purchase the tickets directly in the train counter - Board ITX train to Gapyeong Station - Suppose to hop abroad the Gapyeong City Tour Bus to the wharf but it was too crowded so we decided to take the taxi (not really remember but i think it took around 10 min and costs roughly KRW 3500 - KRW 4000) - Taking the ferry to the island directly —— > Highly recommend to go there early morning if you are going to French Village as well as the ferry queue from Nami Island back to the Wharf is crazy (we waited for more than 1 hour🥲🥲) and we ended up miss the operation hour of the village 🥲 #namiisland #seoul #korea

Nami Island is well known as a filming location of Winter Sonata, a popular drama series in early 2000's. You'll see how big impact of this drama series to tourism. Located in Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon. There are two option to get to the island. First one is by taking ferry boat, second one is dedicated to those who seeking for more adrenaline rush, by zip wire. Since it's such a mainstream destination, you can find it easy to get there. There are shuttle bus from Seoul and train as well. Entrance fee is KRW 13,000. I highly recommend you to come in Autumn or Winter as it gets prettier when the leaf started turn to yellow in Autumn or glowing white of snow in winter. No need to worry about the public facility. There's so many restaurant on the island or nearby, and they also provide a mosque for Muslim guest. I've been there in January, when the lake become an ice skate rink. I really enjoy my day trip Nami Island and Flower Garden. You can opt to travel on your own or follow any travel agency. Since I love challenges, I create my own itinerary. You can go to Nami Island by using public train and bus. Once you arrive at the jetty, the ferry will take you to the island. It will take 7-10 mins approx. Since I came during spring season, it is quite nice weather. You may noticed, lots of people coming there from all over the world and to find restaurant or cafe is very easy. For muslim traveller, there is also a prayer room. After done spent my time at Nami Island, I took the bus and went to the flower garden called The Garden of MorningCalm. I'm so happy to see the colorful of flowers which you can see everywhere in the park. Absolutely no regrets to arrive there. Nami Island - the perfect getaway from the bustling city. It is about an hours’ drive from Seoul, followed by a short 5-10mins ferry ride to reach this dreamy destination. I visited at the very start of spring which meant that most of the greenery and blooms are still waking up from their winter slumber but the breathtaking views were still no less than amazing. Best to explore during Autumn foilage (starting September to November) to witness the gingko and maple trees. Honestly very cute. I had alot of fun with my friends feeding the alpacas and also walking around the mini zoo. We went in summer (do not recommend— it was so hot). The mini zoo was on a hill so you can imagine the steep climb in the summer heat to see a variety of animals that are in the zoo. It wasn’t crowded which is good and the only people there were those that were in the same tour group as us. We had a coin to feed the alpacas roaming in a large pen. It was really fun because they were so hungry and smart to find you for your food. There was also an amazing race and the prize is a sticker sheet— very cute. ps: we went on a nami-island tour so which covers the alpaca world attraction (recommend if you want to spend a day exploring nami with your friends) #alpaca #namiisland #namislandkorea #south_korea #korea

A late birthday trip to South Korea. I chose a snowy day to go at Nami Island to enjoy the snow and so we can get picture perfect scenery. Nami was so beautiful covered with snow. It’s my second time here and it gets better everytime. I recommend to check weather everyday to see if it changes. I am so glad it didn’t change when I was there.
