🎈Izu Shuzenji Asaba Hotel is really my favorite.
✨What impressed me most was that it was super clean. It was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The old man at the door had a warm and friendly smile, as if he had just stepped out of a movie.
🏨The hotel only has twelve rooms, and this time I was lucky enough to book a Yuyue room on the first floor. There is nothing to say about the hotel service. The four service staff bowed to see the guest off and did not go back until they were out of sight.
♨️Here you can enjoy Japanese hot springs and feel the comfort of vacation. There is also a beautiful Japanese garden around, perfect for taking pictures.

Charcoal Grilled Eel
After dropping off our luggage at the hotel, we went to the restaurant to get a table.
We waited for about 45 minutes before we could be seated.
While sipping hot soup, we waited for the staff to grill the eel for us.
The staff cut the grilled eel into pieces and placed them by the stove, to be eaten wrapped in vegetables along with other ingredients.
The eel's skin was chewy, and the meat was quite tender, but not very fatty. Eating too much of it can feel a bit greasy.
🌟Tips for Waiting:
1) The restaurant's second round starts at 4:30 PM, so it's recommended to get a table early.
2) If dining with a large group, it's advisable to split into separate tables.

Initially, I thought it was just an ordinary attraction, but I was completely amazed by its beauty when I saw it in person! 🥹🥹 I spent quite a while taking photos at every corner.
This historical building, built in 1642, is not just a tower but also a church, library, and observatory. Occasionally, there are art exhibitions on different floors.
As you slowly walk up the 35-meter-high spiral ramp, you will want to stop and admire each level. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Copenhagen, which will make you want to stay for a while. The top of the tower also houses the oldest functioning observatory in Europe, full of historical charm.✨
📍A little tip:
In winter: It is recommended to visit after 6 PM. Although the surrounding shops are closed, the Rundetaarn is open until 8 PM, allowing you to avoid the crowds and enjoy a peaceful sunset.
In summer: Visit just before sunset for the best experience.✨

It's a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Roppongi Station. Even from the same Roppongi Station, it's a 6-minute walk from the Oedo Line Roppongi Station.
As of summer 2024, it will be in Category 7, the second highest of Hyatt's 8 categories.
Although the guest rooms are only up to the 21st floor, the quality of the hotel is extremely high throughout.
The gym and pool are free for all guests, but club floor guests can also use the sauna and bath area for free (general guests: ¥4,400).
The pool here is incredibly stylish. It gets a bit crowded with families right after check-in, but it's quite empty from morning to around noon.
The gym is equipped with new equipment, making it very comfortable!
The bath area includes a bath, cold bath, and dry sauna. The locker room is also equipped with lotions and creams, making it very refreshing!
I indulged a bit and got a massage at the spa!

The century-old pier warehouse has been revitalized into a waterfront living space. Although I was looking forward to the pure white carousel for photos, it was removed a long time ago 🥲 but I still love the relaxing and comfortable literary atmosphere 🌿☕️
Inside, there are many Taiwanese brands and cultural and creative shops, offering plenty of options for shopping and buying souvenirs. There are also Taiwanese restaurants, but the prices are relatively high and the choices are limited. In 2023, the KW2 HOSTEL opened in the warehouse, featuring a minimalist style and a view of the coast. I hope to stay there next time I visit☺️

Bangkok Christmas Decorations
I specifically chose Thailand to celebrate my birthday 🎉. It's been over ten years since I last visited Thailand.
Everything feels unfamiliar, exciting, and challenging.
For convenience, I chose a hotel near Pratunam Market. Since it's November, the Christmas 🎄 decorations have started, but unfortunately, I didn't see any artificial snow ❄️.
Due to a previous experience with an upset stomach, I was very cautious this time and mostly chose to eat at large restaurants or food courts in malls. I'm happy to report that I had no stomach issues this time.
I even challenged myself to grill Thai shrimp. There was also a cooked food section behind the seating area, and everything was delicious 🤤. The all-you-can-eat buffet for 499 baht is highly recommended, and it's near the subway station. We arrived around 5 PM and were seated immediately.
Croatia Dubrovnik: Take a Cable Car to Overlook the Entire City!
This time, I traveled to Dubrovnik, Croatia, where the cable car is one of the famous attractions! The top of Mount Srd is the perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking view of the entire town of Dubrovnik. The scenery from this high vantage point is simply stunning! A round-trip ticket costs 27 euros, and from the top, you can see the endless sea and the beautiful old town below! It is definitely a worthwhile choice!
In addition, there are telescopes on the observation deck to see even further. If you travel to this place, you absolutely cannot miss this attraction!

A Day Trip to Shirahama, Wakayama
Early in the morning, take the limited express train from Shin-Osaka to Shirahama, which takes about 3 hours. The first thing to do upon arriving in Shirahama is to purchase a one-day bus pass at the Meiko Bus Shirahama Station Information Center next to Shirahama Station. This pass is cost-effective as you will be taking the Meiko Bus to various famous attractions in Shirahama throughout the day (a route map of the buses is included). The first stop is Tore Tore Market for lunch, where you can buy sashimi, seafood, and local products. There is a public area outside the market for dining.
After eating, take the bus to various attractions. It is recommended to check the bus stop signs for the arrival times of each bus to plan your schedule. The itinerary for the day is as follows: Tore Tore Market --> Shirahama Underwater Observation Tower (only viewed from the outside, did not go up the tower) --> Senjojiki --> Sandanbeki --> Engetsu Island (to watch the sunset) --> Shirahama Ginza Street (most shops are closed by dusk).
Unfortunately, the sunset that day did not align with the small hole in Engetsu Island, but it was still worth the visit. After completing the itinerary, take the Meiko Bus back to Shirahama Station and then the limited express train back to Shin-Osaka. Note that the last Meiko Bus and the last limited express train back to Shin-Osaka are quite early (the last limited express train that day was around 7 PM), so be sure to check the timetable in advance.
Toyo-tei | A Century-Old Western Restaurant in Kyoto! Great Value for Money!
Kyoto is home to many delicious foods, and Toyo-tei is definitely unforgettable! Established in Kyoto in 1897, it has stood the test of time for over a century. The decor is elegant and atmospheric, full of nostalgia.
Toyo-tei's cold tomato appetizer is a signature dish, served with a bit of salad dressing, it's a perfect sweet and sour starter. The beef hamburger steak and pudding are also very famous. The hamburger is tender and juicy, and the pudding is surprisingly smooth and fragrant.
The entire set meal is 2200 yen, including a cold appetizer, bread/rice, main course, dessert, and drink. You can choose from various cakes and teas, all of which taste great. It's truly great value for money!
This branch is located inside Kyoto Station, and there are nearly 10 branches in the Kansai area. If you have the chance, you should definitely visit the magnificent main store in Kyoto!

An ancient steam clock outside the Otaru Music Box shop, built in bronze, is controlled by a computer to make the boiler boil to produce steam.

Fushimi Inari Taisha | The Head Shrine of 30,000 Inari Shrines!
It is said that there are 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan, with Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto being the head shrine.
The deity worshipped at Fushimi Inari Taisha is Inari Okami. Established in 711 AD, the shrine has a history of 1,300 years and is revered as the god of bountiful harvests, prosperous business, family safety, and the fulfillment of various wishes. Before visiting Inari Taisha, I had heard of its profound reputation, so I chose to visit during the day. Despite the bustling crowd and the gloomy weather, it was still a beautiful shrine!
Famous for its foxes and the Senbon Torii (thousands of torii gates), the path leading to Mount Inari is lined with countless bright orange torii gates, said to number 10,000. The shrine's mystery and solemnity are greatly influenced by these features!
Along the way, I saw many fox statues, each unique, holding jewels, rice ears, scrolls, etc., symbolizing wealth, harvest, and wisdom. When visiting Fushimi Inari Taisha, be sure to look out for these adorable and majestic foxes!

A two-storey villa with a pool that opened two years ago.
This time I stayed here for two nights because I wanted to relax in the Canggu Berawa area instead of going to Ubud or Uluwatu.

Skateboarding Experience Wandering.
Since the summer vacation, Zhao BB has been getting into skateboarding 🛹. He takes classes every week and practices at home, making rapid progress 🤭. In Hong Kong, he attends group classes every week, but we want Zhao BB to experience different places and skateparks. So, sometimes when we go to the mainland, he takes one-on-one classes 🤭.
This indoor skatepark at Houhai Station is really great. It's spacious, has a variety of ramps, and even a bowl. Plus, it's very new and clean 👍🏻.
After taking a trial class, Zhao BB tried the bowl for the first time 👍🏻. Both Zhao BB and Zhao's parents loved it 😍. Unfortunately, it's a bit far for regular lessons, but we'll definitely come back to play and practice whenever we get the chance 🛹.

If you plan to go to Tokyo in November to see the autumn leaves, you might as well enjoy the ginkgo trees! The first choice is of course the ginkgo forest outside the Meiji Jingu Shrine. There is a ginkgo avenue that is more than 300 meters long, lined with tall ginkgo trees. It is definitely a good place to take pictures! Every year in late November, the ginkgo leaves turn golden yellow, forming a spectacular scene, and walking on Ginkgo Avenue feels like you are in a golden tunnel, very romantic. P.S. There are several restaurants next to Ginkgo Bibio, Shake Shack also has outdoor seating, good weather can Chill while enjoying the scenery! Additionally, there are other restaurants and coffee shops nearby to satisfy your taste buds.

When you travel to Macau, of course you can't miss eating Portuguese tarts! 😋 This time I stayed at the Sheraton at the Londoner Hotel and found the cafe of Andrew Bakery as soon as I got out of the lift! 🤩 You don't have to go to Lo Wan to eat Michelin Portuguese tart, it's so convenient!
Even though it was around 1pm, there were still a lot of people queuing up! Waited a few minutes to get a seat, the environment is much more comfortable than the roadside headquarters, but also the open kitchen design, vinyl decoration is very stylish 😎, sitting on the sofa is very comfortable! Best of all, the price is even the same as Coloane! Worth eating! 👏

Impressions from my trip to Positano
The spectacular view of Positano's colorful buildings jutting out into the sea was just like a painting. I will never forget the time I spent strolling through the narrow alleys and tasting gelato at a local shop. Another attraction is being active, spending time relaxing on the beach or touring the coastline on a boat tour. However, there are many slopes, so comfortable shoes are a must! Positano, with its beautiful scenery, delicious food, and peaceful time, is a place I want to visit again and again.
The town itself was wonderful, and it was a really nice town.
