[Patrons of the Arts 🔌 ] Yesterday, we hosted a special event around “Lattice” by designer and artist Andreas Gysin at the Institut du monde arabe in Paris. The artwork and its display, imagined by Gysin for the occasion and the space, was inspired by the mashrabiya-like mechanical apertures of the Institute. 💻 "Lattice" is a program that generates geometric structures in real time using the ASCII character set in a forever choreography of patterns. The piece was presented yesterday on five LED monoliths of 2x3 meters facing the square windows. Andreas Gysin's innovative work explores the relationship between the digital and physical worlds, often utilizing algorithms, electronics, and mechanical components. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this incredible event, and to Andreas for an incredible collaboration, under the curation of Nina Roehrs. The artwork will soon join the ABS collection. 👏 📸 Below is a first glimpse of "Lattice" and the event:

[Patronage of the Arts 🧬 ] A year later, we are proud to see {Σ Lumina} by Agoria displayed at the #AIActionSummit in Paris. Sigma Lumina was created under our patronage as part of Agoria’s carte blanche at the Musée d'Orsay in 2024. It is inspiring to witness this artwork showcased before an international audience, serving as a powerful reminder of the intersection between technology and art during these important conversations. ⬇️ Below is an excerpt from French President Emmanuel Macron, highlighting the role of AI in creativity, alongside a glimpse of this stunning piece in the studio. © France 2 👏 Congratulations Agoria on this remarkable achievement! #SuccessIsAJourney

[Patronage of the Arts 🖼️ ] We're delighted to announce that two new artworks, N°25 Eroding Meaning and N°47 Parallel Reach by trailblazing artist Jack Butcher are joining the ABS Collection. ⬇ The artwork is part of the Latent series which was presented at Paris Photo Fair's digital art sector by laCollection.io and curated by Marlène Corbun. The Latent series, merges Jack Butcher's practice with photography, inspired by Henri Cartier Bresson’s “decisive moment”. Time, minimalism, and the invisible combine. The decisive moment in Butcher’s new series is transposed into the world of the machine: the neural network’s latent space, the unexposed film before development. Through a deep learning model, the artist explores that neural space. A dive that takes the shape of 80 unique digital creations and their silver prints. Under the curation of Nina Roehrs 👋 , our curator for 2024-2025 ABS Collection vintage. Discover the rest of our collection 👉 : https://lnkd.in/eSe-8da9

[Patronage of the Arts 🎼] The Beirut Chants Festival, which Arab Bank Switzerland Lebanon is proud to support, opened last month in the Lebanese capital, where the Antonine University Choir and Lebanese Orchestra gathered guests at the St. Joseph Church for a program around Haendel and W.A. Mozart’s Coronation Mass. A colorful ensemble, a wave of joy as the music merges and alternates between choir and solos led by Mira Akiki, soprano, Grace Medawar, mezzo-soprano, Bechar Moufarrek, tenor and Cesar Naassy, bass-baritone. A glimpse of serenity, a testimony of resilience. Photo Credits: Beirut Chants CC: Charles Salem, Micheline Abi Samra

[Patrons of the Arts 🎞️ ] Last month, we held a special screening of "Wild Days" (Les Jours Sauvages), an incredible movie and documentary on high-level mountaineering, that we are proud to support. The movie chronicles the 50-days journey of four alpinists around the Denali mountain (6,190m) in Alaska. For the second year now, Arab Bank Switzerland chose to bridge arts and sports through its patronage of this incredible tale of perseverance, solidarity, and sportsmanship. Thank you to Helias Millerioux and Alex Marchesseau from the movie crew, and to everyone who joined us at the Ciné17 in Geneva. 🙏 CC : Ismaël Benazzouz, Pascal Barneville #SuccessIsAJourney
