This week Benedikt Fasel will be in Dortmund, showcasing our GNSS-IMU based measurement of hurdles sprint performance along with 5 other measurement systems: 3D markerless motion capture (Simi Reality Motion Systems), magnet-based split times (Humotion GmbH), forces (Moticon AG), full-body IMU-suit (Movella Health & Sports | Xsens), step parameters (OptoJump from Microgate). This very unique demo (something like this has probably never happened before) gives participants a unique insight into each system and allows a true 1:1 comparison which system is the most appropriate to answer a given question. Even though everyone is talking about our rowing performance analysis product, the other sports are very active too! This week Benedikt Fasel was in Ruhpolding (Germany) for a #biathlon education session organized by the International Biathlon Union.

It's not always about #rowing, on this week's schedule is some #biathlon and cross-country skiing.

We are making coaches and athletes happy. "For us here at Princeton, we are always looking for new ways to provide actionable, objective feedback to all of our athletes. Archinisis has become a great tool for us to use to help us achieve this goal. Up until now, it has been hard to provide our coxswains with data-based feedback. The data that the Archinisis unit provides us with information that we can share with our coxswains to help them understand their performance and supply them with actionable improvements going forward. We are just getting started with the Archinisis units here at Princeton and I know we still have a lot to learn, but the data is already helping us with our coaching." says Greg Hughes, head coach of Princeton University Heavyweight Men’s Rowing.
