🌍 Clarmondial’s Partner for East Africa, Herbert Hatanga, shares a blog from one of his recent due diligence trips in Western Uganda, highlighting the critical role of aggregators in smallholder supply chains. The piece features fictional characters inspired by real-life events, bringing to light how these intermediaries can empower smallholder farmers.    📸 In the photo, Herbert is seen while he is conducting due diligence on an aggregator that operates in sustainable cocoa value chains, working directly with smallholder farmers to promote better livelihoods and regenerative practices.   🌱 Aggregators do much more than link farmers to markets – they provide agronomy support, certification, financial literacy training, and more.
