Science, Art, Storrytelling! 🌟
✍️✨ We recently hosted the Sci-Fi Creative Night with stories inspired by Cosmos Archaeology What better way to explore the Cosmos Archaeology exhibition at the Shanghai Astronomy Museum than through sci-fi stories? Space has long been subject to wild theories and opened countless stories based on human imagination and creativity. It seemed very natural to link the exhibition to science fiction stories. We invited 8 students from Fudan University to visit the exhibition and write short sci-fi stories based on the artworks. Our Sci-Fi Creative Night was a showcase of their stories and was indeed full of surprises. We enjoyed a series of story presentations and a lively panel with sci-Fi writer Bo Jiang, Iris X Long, co-curator of the exhibition and Philippe Roesle (何辉), CEO of Swissnex in China. We discussed the power of storytelling to evoke emotions, how to draw inspiration from real science, and intriguing questions like how we can narrate from a non-human/alien perspective 🌌👽 Read some excerpts: https://lnkd.in/et3QSV53 Learn more about the exhibition: https://lnkd.in/enzePJMW
