We are excited to announce the 5th Embodied Intelligence Conference, taking place online from April 2-4, 2025. This free event will bring together a diverse range of speakers to explore the challenges and opportunities in embodied intelligence research. This year’s conference introduces several exciting changes, including a new timeline for proceedings submissions — the deadline will be 31st of August, 2025. We are delighted to offer master classes with plenary speakers and selected distinguished researchers. These sessions will provide an opportunity for early stage researchers to present and discuss research ideas that can be developed for publication in the conference proceedings. 🚀 Excited to share our latest work on dexterous manipulation! We develop a hybrid approach that combines a Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model with diffusion policy to enable language conditioned dexterous manipulation for a robotic hand (ADAPT Hand 2). 🦾 Using VLA for high-level planning and diffusion model for precise, finger-level control. An event signal enables the transition between two models.
