Info
Dufour Aerospace develops efficient and sustainable aircraft for patient and passenger transport, logistics and public safety. It uses distributed electric propulsion and a hybrid module to be able to meet today's helicopter market and Advanced Air Mobility requirements. Aero3, the flagship product, can take-off and land vertically like a helicopter, but flies as fast and as energy efficient as an airplane, by virtue of its tilt-wing design. Dufour Aerospace is also developing the Aero2, an unmanned aerial vehicle based on the same aerodynamic and technical principles as Aero3.

Aviation faces a challenge. We're solving it. We’re excited to reintroduce ourselves to our new followers! At Dufour Aerospace, we’re designing advanced drones to solve real-world challenges in critical industries. Imagine this: A life-saving organ or crucial blood supply must reach a patient urgently. Traditional transportation, like planes or helicopters, can be expensive, inefficient, and sometimes impossible—especially in remote, rugged areas. That’s where we come in. Our hybrid-electric tilt-wing drones combine the versatility of helicopters and the efficiency of airplanes for a faster, cheaper, and more sustainable solution. Whether transporting medical supplies, supporting search-and-rescue missions, or connecting remote communities, we’re reshaping how we think about transportation in critical industries. To our new followers: Thank you for joining us. We’re excited to share our journey with you! #TiltWing #DroneTechnology #Aerospace #Aviation #MedTech #SearchandRescue #SupplyChain #TransportationSolutions #CriticalIndustries

Our Lufthansa Group ProTeam trainees of Generation 37 together with several management representatives traveled to Zurich as part of their #ProInnovation days to work alongside leading companies in setting the course for sustainable aviation in the future. 🌍✈️ The goal of this journey was to gain deeper insights into groundbreaking technologies and innovations driving change in the industry — from eco-friendly engines to direct CO₂-capture from the air. At Dufour Aerospace, we were impressed by their tilt-wing technology, which focuses on efficient, hybrid flight solutions, while CELLSIUS inspired us with projects like the electric e-Sling and hydrogen-based concepts. Another highlight was the visit at Climeworks: their approach of CO₂-Capture technologies underscores how partnerships and innovations can sustainably transform the aviation sector. We concluded our journey in a panel discussion at SWISS International Airlines headquarters alongside industry experts from CELLSIUS, Kearney, Verve Ventures, Climeworks, and Lufthansa Group about the opportunities and challenges in the topic of sustainable aviation. This trip not only opened up new perspectives for us but also strengthened our commitment to partnerships thereby actively shaping the transformation of aviation. 🚀 #Sustainability #Innovation #LufthansaProTeam #ProInnovation
