Recently, we brought together our teams from the UK, South Africa, and Switzerland to our head office country for a few days in the Swiss mountains. The occasion combined our annual team meeting, Christmas celebration, and branding workshops—a perfect opportunity to reflect on an incredible year and plan for 2025! We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our contractors, clients, and placements for their continued partnership. The loyalty and trust we’ve received from our customers this year have been truly humbling, and the relationships we’ve built are more than appreciated. We have some exciting announcements planned for early Q1 to share our plans for continued growth in all three countries we operate in. We're excited to announce the launch of our South Africa office in Stellenbosch, established to enhance both the quality and speed of our recruitment process. Under the leadership of Charnene Sommerfeld and with the support of our newest team member, Danele Groenewald, this team is already transforming our approach. In just three weeks, the team has refined our candidate database, achieving faster delivery times and a noticeable uplift in the quality of candidate presentations to clients. Opening this office represents Elize Partners ongoing commitment to connecting organisations with the high-performing talent they need to drive innovation. Exciting times at Elize as we grow our Zurich HQ, London office, and Stellenbosch team in preparation for 2025!

Over the last 18 months, our growth has been incredible, but it has also presented new challenges, particularly in maintaining an outstanding customer experience post-placement. With the increasing workload regarding compliance, accounting, and contract reviews/management, we recognised the need to enhance our operational capacity. This ensures that contractors working with Elize have a seamless experience not just when securing a role, but throughout their entire journey with us. Sophie brings several years of HR and operations experience from both industry and the recruitment sector, making her the perfect fit to build our Operations team. Her expertise will be key in helping us uphold our commitment to excellence, ensuring that our operational processes are as robust and customer-focused as our recruitment efforts. We Are Excited to Announce the Continuation of Our Social Impact Partnership with Stiftung Schweizer Tafel for 2024! Following the success of our 2023 collaboration, this ongoing relationship underscores our commitment to positively impacting our community and supporting those in need. Every day, the Swiss Food Bank collects over 25 tons of perfectly good, surplus food from retailers and wholesalers and distributes it free of charge to 500 social institutions such as homeless shelters, soup kitchens, emergency accommodation and women's shelters. Tomorrow our team will dedicate a full day working with them at the center, volunteering our time to support Schweizer Tafel's vital mission. As our team will be engaged in this volunteering activity tomorrow, we kindly ask for your patience with regard to updates on our hiring processes. We have officially completed year one at Elize Partners, and what a year it's been. It's been quite the journey over the last 12 months with some great successes! Growing a business from scratch in the industry we operate in is no easy task. Being able to stand out against the competition is difficult and requires discipline, high standards, and the grit and determination of everyone in the team to succeed. Below are some of our business highlights shared in our internal team end-of-year one review meeting: • Signed 20+ clients. • Placed our first contractors. • Filled several exclusive executive mandates. • Signed our first managed services deal. • Made our first international placements. • Grew the internal team from 2 to 6 people. • Volunteered in warehouses, delivering food parcels while raising money in donations through our approach to social impact. • Went on our first internal incentive trip. • Made x4 team members shareholders in the business. There have been plenty of tough times along the way with still much to do and improve upon. We couldn't be prouder of the business we are building and want to take the opportunity to thank everyone that has been part of it, from suppliers to our great customers and candidates who have supported us in making our dream a reality by working with EP! We have ambitious goals this year when it comes to customer experience, increasing productivity, and increasing donations through our social impact partnerships. However, as a business, we feel confident that we will make this happen and be celebrating this time next year!
