The effectiveness of 🧠 brain stimulation on motor skills is determined by an individual's learning ability rather than age, highlighting the need for a more personalized approach to neurorehabilitation. The new study was led by Pablo Maceira Elvira in the group of Friedhelm Hummel. Story by Nik Papageorgiou. Check it out 👇

About last week at the School of Life Sciences: Another inspiring session in our Green Academy series! This time, we were fortunate to host an enlightening seminar featuring Sara Bonetti, Pedro Marques-Vidal, and Marcel Salathé, who engaged in a systemic and multidisciplinary discussion on one of the century's most complex issues: Food. What we learned: 🌱 30% of Earth’s soil is severely degraded by agriculture. Sustainable and regenerative farming needs tailored, dynamic, and local solutions. 🍎Ultra-processed food (but not only) significantly increases the risk of chronic diseases, yet affordability and accessibility to healthy alternatives remain a global challenge. 💻 Data-driven solutions for nutritional challenges are advancing in accuracy and application. These tools could empower individuals and governments alike to adopt sustainable and evidence-based nutrition strategies.
