Open position: Hardware/Software Engineer We are looking for a talented and hardworking engineer to work on new hardware and software components for innovative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) devices. You will be responsible for designing control boards, sourcing the components and writing firmware/software packages. Additional tasks might include analyzing performance data, system troubleshooting and collaborating with other engineers in the realization of new devices. Schedule: 60-100%, from 1st of July 2020 or other mutually agreed date. Location: Zürich, Switzerland. Your tasks - Develop high quality code (including UX) - Design, develop, and maintain firmware and hardware solutions for our devices - Hands-on hardware analysis and code optimization - Help our lab in developing innovative chemical devices! Requirements - Background in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience - Programming languages (some experience with Python, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP) and experience with embedded systems - Comfortable in working independently, passionate about a start-up environment, strong team player, flexibility in working in a high-speed work environment Get in contact with us!
