On November 13th, 2024, Jean-Christophe Babin, President of the Geneva Watch Days, will present to Stéphane Cruchaud, Dean of the Geneva School of Watchmaing, the proceeds raised from the charitable auction held on September 1st, 2024. This charity auction, organized jointly by the Geneva Watch Days and Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo, raised CHF 108'000.- for the Pierre Amstutz Fund aiming to support watchmaking students in difficult financial situations. ⭐️ Des Power Breakfasts toujours aussi inspirants lors des Geneva Watch Days ! Avec Catherine Eberlé-Devaux, nous avons eu l'opportunité d'organiser ces moments précieux d'échange. Comme l'année dernière, j'ai rencontré des personnes extraordinaires dans un format totalement innovant. Le concept ? 👉 Deux leaders, l'un de l'horlogerie et l'autre d'un secteur différent, entourés de participants passionnés, notamment des étudiants et universitaires. Ce cadre a permis des échanges dynamiques et enrichissants, ouvrant la voie à de nouvelles perspectives. L'horlogerie s'est révélée sous un jour encore plus ouvert et accessible, grâce à des discussions inspirantes et diversifiées. Un grand merci à Catherine, Francoise, Cécile, Lara, Dr Maja, Ana, Elodie, Loïc et Lea mes partenaires de cette belle aventure. Merci également aux CEOs et leaders qui nous ont honorés de leur présence, ainsi qu'aux modérateurs et modératrices qui ont brillamment animé les échanges. Our commitment to horological culture is driven by a desire to preserve and promote artisanal skills through meaningful collaborations. The FHH actively participated in this event, recognizing the crucial importance of partnerships in ensuring the continued vitality of the watchmaking industry. We were delighted to collaborate with partners such as the Horological Society of New York, the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève - GPHG, The Watch Library, the HOROPEDIA Foundation, and the Ecole d'Horlogerie de Genève.
